No trade ?

He is just one of the few players that if he was there at 32 😊, I would consider not trading down.

Really like Etienne, might be my favorite RB this draft
I'm hoping we can package our 5th, 6th and two 7ths to move into the top 5. There are a couple of players I'm targeting that could really help this squad.

That won't get you close to the Top 5. Or Top 15 for that matter.

I would say the odds of a trade up of any kind in the 1st are pretty slim. This team has its franchise cornerstones. What they need is better depth at several positions, players that can develop into future starters.

Yep. And let's face it,the team have done some amazing drafting in the lower rounds.

absolutely. I think they should pick Trey Downe. They need depth at cornerback, possibly replace/compete with Jeff Wilson. Depth behind Kittle and Dwelley, depth at OLine, Depth at edge rusher, compete/replace Goodwin and Pettis etc..,.
Laviska Shenault and Julian Okwara

Kyle won't spend a high pick on an RB.
It will all come down to how they feel about the current group of OL.

Is Brunskill the future at LT? or RG?

Is Garland the future at C or G?

If a high value emerges at the #32 pick, they grab him. If not, trade back 15 sports or so and pick up a 3rd/combo.

I don't think any player would keep us from moving back and picking up extra picks.. its a deep draft and no one player is worth missing out on 2-3 more guys(assuming we trade back a couple of times). But if a guy like okudah somehow fell to us I would think hard and deep about it but ultimately still would trade back
But we do have to look at, what draft picks are going to make our 54 cut. I know some positions are of need and we like a lot of the second and third round picks, but you have to compare what FA we are set to loose, and is this pick better than what we have between the roster and practice squad.

To me, pick at the end of the first round, I picked the only players that I thought would Have an immediate impact or plug in play or be a valuable piece on the 54 and worth the pick.

With that, we trade down......... unless a generation, game changing player comes to you. The only generational player I saw slipping in a lot of mocks was Etienne. This is because of the devaluing of the RB and the feeling that we can get one anywhere.

Our roster is built with having a great locker room. At the end of the day, keep AA, and core players. Draft good character guys. This is a deep draft.
If I'm the raiders, I take Ruggs first, Justin Jefferson 2nd and then trade all 3 3rd round picks to the niners for Patrick Queen

He is shorter. Great receiver out of backfield. In space, really has great agility and ability to make you miss, sets up blocks well, a very sudden athlete that also get behind pads and runs through contact and tackles well.

I think one of the more versatile and talented backs I've seen. I don't think Leveone was as talented when he came out, but in the league I think he developed into one our leagues best dual threats. I think Ettiene is closer to that now.

Do you have a reason that he is NOTHING like him?

Doesn't really matter now than Ettiene is staying in school, but Bell is like 3 inches and 30 lbs heavier than Ettiene. Bell is a powerback. Sure his nimbleness and lateral ability that he has developed during his time in the league is what makes him special, but he wins with patience, football IQ/instinct, and then size once he's through the whole. Etienne does have good contact balance yes, but he hangs his hat on elite speed and explosion that is simply not a part of Bells game. He has shown great improvement and utilization as a pass catcher this year, but not yet ready to say he is going to be the all around threat that Bell is either. I think Etienne is a 3 down back, and will be a top 40 pick next year, but he's more of the home run threat than the consecutive chunk yard generator in the NFL, IMO

Is Dee Ford's knee fixable with an off season and good rehab ?? Or is there permanent damage and career threatening type issues??

He just had a full off season and he's still having issues. Not the knee per se but areas around that knee. I think it's a chronic issue. I remember them saying in the off season he tried a new technique. Maybe there is something else that can be done.

I think that it would be wise to proceed as if that knee will never be okay. Get deep enough at edge then you can weather the storm if either Ford or Bosa are unavailable.
