Van Jefferson WR Florida

Another value pick at WR in this crazy draft

Started at Old Miss then transferred to Florida. Not a ton of crazy stats, but he seems to always produce when he get's opportunities. He will be 24 when he's drafted.

6-1 197 with 32 1/2 inch arms. He has speed but nothing off the charts. He was raised around football and is a nuanced route-runner. He can get open/separate.

had 8 catches 73 yards 2 TDs vs that crazy LSU secondary

It's definitely not gonna be hard to upgrade WR in this draft. Matter of fact I wouldn't dip into free agency, well only to re-sign Emmanuel Sanders that is. So many WR I like in this draft, it's hard to say which is my favorite or even top 3. But I do like Van Jefferson, physically wise he looks like everything Shanahan is looking for in a WR I just don't know if he has off field issues?
Becoming a bigger fan of his by the day

As far as I know no off field stuff. This class is so deep I don't see the point going WR early unless some stud drops.

Van is a technician, he's got decent size but isn't a speed guy. I've seen people comp him to JuJu (juju is a little bigger).

Love the bloodline too, son of former nfl wr Shawn Jefferson who is currently wr coach for the Jets. Similar to Bosa, kid been getting coached up as a WR since birth
I love this kid. Year 1 WR3, Year 2-10 WR2. Older prospect. Seasoned. Skilled. Ready. Polished.
