He seemed to out run, out jump, out muscle the other guys on the field at 5'11. He might be just one of those good football players. Will he keep good work ethics to deal with better competition in the NFL...?

Seeing Jalen's reactions to his 40 time on twitter and I'm finding myself thinking he's coming off too excuse heavy and then I'm making the crazy jump to "is he a guy who will look for excuses versus letting things just quietly fuel him"
Solomon broke me
Bosa couldn't fix me either since he was such a no brainer pick.
I mean his 40 time is fine. It was the 3-cone and shuttle times that were disgusting.

I know I don't care about his 40 time. It's his reaction to the combine on twitter that rubs me a little the wrong way.
I fully admit I'm probably way overthinking it but that's part of the draft too...guy could be a perfect prospect on tape, combine but what happens once they get paid and enter the league?
It's probably just a young kid bumming that he didn't live up to expectations but I'd prefer to see him just ignore that stuff and just keep grinding.

I'm down on Reagor and up on Aiyuk and Hamler in terms of value and the 40 time has nothing to do with it.

Missed his reactions. Anyone have it?

Just posting/retweeting stuff about how combine was adding fractions of seconds to the 40 time while guys were still in their stance.

Asked an NFL scout for the fastest 10-yard splits from their stopwatches at the Combine. Three players posted a ridiculous 1.48 time:

WR Henry Ruggs

I like Reagor, but I wonder if the team pursued Taylor Gabriel due to our lack of draft picks. If Goodwin is traded Gabriel would be a fantastic replacement.

When did Shanahan pursue Gabriel?

Shanny was the one who identified Taylor Gabriel during tryouts in Cleveland and helped bring him over to Atlanta.

Yeah posted the same thing a few weeks ago. Gabriel would be a nice addition. He knows the offense and is a proven deep threat. I still think we need to add to the receiver room though even if they were to sign Gabriel. Too many question marks after Deebo and Bourne on the depth chart for various underlying reasons.

I agree he would, but money is a issue for SF. I'd much rather move Goodwin and take that cash to resign sanders OR put that cash elsewhere and draft someone.
Losing Goodwin and Sanders and replace them with Gabriel and NOT drafting someone makes this team worse not better imo.

That was my Spanglish coming out. I wonder if we will pursue him.
I don't think he'll come anywhere close to getting what he got on his last contract (thanks to Kyle). He was an elite playmaker when Kyle featured him in Atlanta. I think the league knows he's a situation WR or #3, at best. I hope they can work out a team friendly deal and let Goodwin walk.
