That was my Spanglish coming out. I wonder if we will pursue him.

I don't think he'll come anywhere close to getting what he got on his last contract (thanks to Kyle). He was an elite playmaker when Kyle featured him in Atlanta. I think the league knows he's a situation WR or #3, at best. I hope they can work out a team friendly deal and let Goodwin walk.

You got my hopes up for a second.
Just another opinion piece, but if we drop back From # 13 for some extra draft capital, say into the mid # 20s, I like JR, but one Knock on him is size, although he's still 5'11" & 200

Jalen Reagor WR TCU

STRENGTHS
Jalen is a very smart, fast, quick, strong, acrobatic catching receiver. His ability to explode quickly is dramatic and his ability to catch the ball in any situation is dramatic also. You don't have to worry about separation with this kid because he knows HOW to run routes by changing gears and using his quickness and NOT just relying on his speed. He has good size and is tough and his run after the catch skills is excellent because of his vision and balance and lateral explosion. He has excellent hands, using strength and force when it is needed and softness when it is called upon like an Artist who creates sculptures. Jalen can be used inside because of his quickness and on the outside because of his speed. He will be able to help the team that selects him the day after the draft at any receiver position because of his route running skills, speed, quickness, and overall high football intelligence to run routes by changing gears to get open.
So you guys pretty lukewarm on JR? I would love to have this guy if we miss out on the big 3. Sure his combine was somewhat disappointing, but he's pretty explosive and plenty fast on tape for me. After the big 3, he's my number 3 on the second tier WR after Aiyuk and Mims. Should be a nice complement with Deebo and Kittle moving forward.

IMO I have the tiers like this. Specific to how I see their talent and how I like them for our team. Some tiers have gaps.

Tier 1
Ruggs
Jeudy

Lamb

Tier 2
Jefferson

Tier 3
Reagor
Mims
Aiyuk

Higgins

Tier 4
Others

I like it! If we miss out on Tier 1, any of Tier 2 and 3 will be a great value around Round 2-3. So trading back with that pick 31 and get a STUD at 13 or even possibly trading back some also makes sense. I gotta check out more of Jefferson also
Everyone runs faster on their pro day, but he's definitely faster then what he ran at the combine. Just not sure in the 4.2s

I like JR. Not at 31, but if we moved back a touch he would be a fine selection.

He looks every bit as fast as ruggs IMO. May even play faster if I'm being honest

Who do you like more between the two.. Aiyuk or Reagor?

You can throw the 4.22 out the window. That guy is a trainer for NFL players and has an incentive to get business. This guy ran a 4.47 at the combine which is the best comparison we have against Ruggs who ran a 4.27.

Even the 4.28 adjusted to a combine time is a 4.40.

I do buy that he's a low to mid 4.4 guy but he's not even close to as fast as Ruggs or Hamler.

In game Raegor CONSTANTLY looks like the fastest guy on the field. I dont see that every play with Ruggs

I'm not worried about 40 times. Im talking what it looks like in game action

I have been going back and forth between these 2 and Mims for the better part of 3 months.

It's actually funny how these 3 mirror the big 3 in terms of bigger/tougher guy in Mims(Lamb), Route Runner in Aiyuk(JJ), Speed in Raegor(Ruggs)

I'm not saying these guys are equal. Just saying amongst their groupings.

To answer your question. As I sit here today, I've actually been feeling me some Raegor. Raegor 1A, Aiyuk 1B, Mims 3. Ask me next week and I'll have a different answer

When watching their highlights you can not tell me he doesn't look every bit as fast as Ruggs
