Jalen Reagor TCU WR

He's not faster than Ruggs. I know why you want to say that he is lol.

That said he's probably a high 4.3 guy end of the day.

He's not even close to as fast as Ruggs. Just watched this video and the only clips that may give you the impression that he's that fast are the deep ball against Stanford and the end around. On the deep ball, the corner and safety gave up on the play which is why he looked so much faster than them. On the end around, no one is close to in position to make a play on him. He looks like a guy with 4.4 speed which is still enough to be the fastest player on the field in most college games.

Ruggs has Tyreek Hill-like speed. Reagor doesn't.

Never said he was faster. I said looks as fast. Plays faster.

And this has nothing to do with draft position long before we had the 13th pick i thought this about Raegor

Day 2 would be a good spot for this kid.

"After weighing in at 197.6 pounds—down from 206 pounds at the combine—Reagor had a few coaches run him through drills.

Miller McCalmon, a former assistant pro scouting director for the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans, clocked the wideout's 40-yard dash at 4.28 seconds, while private trainer Danny Arnold's stopwatch read 4.22 seconds.

Reagor ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. His pro-day attempt would've ranked as the fastest time at the combine, beating Henry Ruggs III's mark of 4.27 seconds.

In the short shuttle, McCalmon recorded Reagor at 3.97 seconds, while Arnold's clock read 4.04 seconds. At the combine, Reagor ran the drill in 4.46 seconds."

I seriously doubt those pro day times.
The difference between 4.27 and 4.47 is about 2-3 strides in the 40 when you see it on the simulcam. That's a fairly large difference but you have to consider that receivers rarely take off and run at full speed on a pattern. Part of being a great receiver is having that next gear to pull away after you make your cut or when you are trying to reach that slightly overthrown ball. The on field difference between 4.27 and 4.47 is not nearly as great as it would seem. Some of the taller receivers may be slower out of the blocks but have a higher top speed which kind of evens things up a bit. In the end. unless you are running an awful lot of fly patterns, any receiver with good hands and moves can be effective unless he is really slow. Anything in the 4.0-4.55 is more than fast enough to be a good receiver as long as you do the other things well.
Reagor has to be closer to Ruggs in the 40 than CD Lamb. Watching film on Lamb and Reagor against the same conference corners, and Reagor is burning people. Perhaps an illusion because he has the perfect track posture and is so compact with the arms and football. All you see is a whirlwind of legs. A threat on all 3 levels. Possible pick at 31 although I'd aim for later.
Damn Reagor suddenly is shaking the WR prospects doesn't he. Missing out on the 3 doesn't even hurt anymore for me with some good choices to be had. I'm suddenly on a trade down from 13 and grab one of them. Flip flopping between Aiyuk/Reagor/Mims for me. Which means we got some options.Trade down baby!

seems like most of the board is getting HOF jackets measured for Lamb/Ruggs/Jeudy. Not going to surprise me in the least if the best WR is taken outside the top 20.
