Acquiring the 13th overall definitely shifted our attention.
But there's a good chance Shanny's eyes never left Reagor. ????
Definitely shifted mine. I was originally thinking Reagor or Hamler, but getting the 13th pick changed that. Also, it's not like these other guys wont work out. There is a reason why this is the deepest receiver class in years. A lot of these guys will have decent pro careers. It's silly to declare who will be the best or crown anyone as a future HOF Also, we've seen examples where the best in the bunch is taken later, so it isn't a stretch to say that. However the tiers exist for a reason and generally the higher you are rated, you should have a higher floor/less flaws in your game as well as the higher ceiling.
Given that I was perfectly fine with Reagor or Hamler two months ago, my position on them hasn't changed. But Ruggs is closer to being able to start right now. Either way you look at it, I think adding a speedster can make our receivers a strength assuming Deebo and Bourne continue to improve and at least one other receiver on the roster (Goodwin, Taylor, Hurd, James, Pettis, Benjamin) we will be in good shape. If KS/JL doesn't see the gap as being that wide between Ruggs and Hamler or Reagor, then they are in great shape with both of their first round picks.
