To be frank, if the 49ers want to replace Emmannuel Sanders with his clone, just go get James Proche from SMU. Won't necessarily wow with any size or top-tier speed, but he's simply a good football player.

Sanders was an elite athlete, look at that spider graph lol

Proche is a very good route-runner with good hands, but imo he's not close to the athlete that Sanders was.

Honestly Pettis is Sanders 2.0 just doesn't have the dog in him, he's not remotely close to the worker that Sanders is....damn shame.

Yep, like I said, the difference is he's not going to wow with speed. Proche is simply a good football player without the "wow" athletic traits that Sanders had. Proche plays bigger than he is. He plays like he's Deebo with the way he snatches balls away from defenders and I also think while he's not "FAST fast" .. he's deceptively fast to an extent.

He doesn't add any element we already have though, but some team could find themselves a player with him. As far as Reagor, no shock that we are interested lol.

Yeah I was actually shocked to see how athletic Sanders is. Love to see him stay, not sure how likely it's gonna be.

I love me some Reagor, think Kyle would get the most out of him. Not sure I want to burn the 31st pick on him. In a trade down scenario I'm all for it.

The problem here is if he does go sub 4.3 he's flying up the draft board to where we have no shot IMO.

Sounds like that interview went well. We're probably salivating at the thought of having him on the team. Another note on Proche, I found it interesting, it was noted that Kyle loved Deebo not just because he was excelling in his matchups, but because "he was just a good football player" -- stuff like that leads me to believe Proche is a guy who still would be on our board, even if it's not as high as someone like Reagor.

Another thing.. The comments Kyle made about keeping Goodwin were pretty eye-opening. Seems like either Goodwin stays or is traded, but won't be cut (barring our hand being forced). Say Goodwin comes back and is actually healthy.. and we draft Reagor..

Deebo + Reagor + Goodwin ... If only Hurd was healthy...

Someone's gotta fall to us, right? No way with so many teams needing defensive help at DE, DT, LB, S, and CB, and offensive help at QB, RB, TE, and OL, that at least one top receiver doesn't fall to us... right?

Ruggs, Jeudy, Higgins, Lamb, Jefferson, Shenault, Hamler?
The more I learn about this kid, the more I like him. He'd add some game-breaking speed both as a WR and a kick returner. I'd like to move on from James...just don't think he's stout enough to hang on to his return job.

Jesus, talk about a textbook answer by Reagor. This dude is doing a hell of a job selling himself to the 49ers.

I didn't hear him talk about Goodwin, must have missed that.

Zero chance Goodwin stays in SF on his current contract. I wouldn't imagine kyle would say he's gonna cut anyone to the media at the combine.
