2020 NFL Scouting Combine Thread

Would not be opposed at all to us taking him as a TE. Claypool lacks the type of shake needed to be a true WR, but as a TE, say he gets between 240-245 or north of that, he's a matchup problem. At 6-4 238, still expect him to run in the 4.5s at least.

That's disappointing

6'1" at almost 230, a slightly bigger AJ Brown.

It looked like he had Smelter like hands size when I watched him.

And how did that guy workout?

Friendly reminder for those who may have forgotten how talented AGG is:

VERY curious to see what he'll run. I think he's kind of a poor man's Larry Fitzgerald right now. To me, he's a top 100 pick, and I think if he runs super well (4.56 is what his estimated 40 time is right now), he's a bonafide lock to go in that range.

Well do you want the reality? Or the legend of DeAndre on the webzone? Cause the legend in which he joined the likes of Quentin Patton, DeAndrew White and Josh Morgan is far more fascinating.

Yah I think Miami goes with Herbert over Tagovailoa. Much safer pick IMO.

He may be safer but Tua is more accustomed to the weather they have in Miami and he is more well known to the fans. Herbert has the size and arm but he's a small town kid who is very low key and not what you would call a natural leader. He's accurate as long as he can stand back there and look over the field but he doesn't throw well on the move. His completion % drops off dramatically. If he goes to Miami he would be about as far from his home as he could be. One of my friends here in Eugene knows the family and he said he wouldn't be surprised if he has a short career because he wants to go into the medical field. One contract would go a long way to paying for medical school.

This is the guy I hope drops to us SO someone can move up and get him

Good call. Need one of the big QB prospects to fall to 31 so the Niners can use them as trade bait.
lol

I call BS. I think the NFL is just trying to generate buzz for the first pick. Plus Zac Taylor played ball with Joes dad.

Growing "perception" ... All they can say, because quite obviously, perception doesn't automatically = reality.
So Chase Young isn't doing any drills. God I hope he gets in a argument with a nurse this weekend.

Young could probably kill a nurse this weekend and still not be there at #31.
