How to stack Draft Picks for 2020?

What if we franchise armstead then move him and trade UP in the first round then draft the best pass rusher in the draft again

So move up to 2 lol? You're throwing away a yrs of draft capital (top end capital) to even think about doing such a thing. Not realistic

Oh come on man if we got Chase Young on this line the opposing QBs would keep on getting the flu the Saturday before the game.

Yup it would only cost us our next 4 1st rd picks lol. s**t doesn't matter if the OL is allowed to hold all day anyway
As you can see, the draft isn't my expertise
Most GMs call all around the league prior to the draft and try to line up potential trades. Usually they come off at the last minute because a player is sitting there that the other team wants. That kind of trade nets the most for the team trading back. If there's a guy there that we want then we stand pat.

The guy you get at 31 will probably be there into the 2nd round. The 49ers can't trade up because they have no draft capital. Let's see what the front office does, should be interesting.

I think they can get an OG in the 3rd round. At #31 I want a WR, DE or CB. A WR to supplant Sanders, a DE to back up Ford and Bosa and a CB to supplant Sherman.

The Niners don't have a third round pick. How do you propose they get one and keep pick #31?

Well, they can get an OG in the 4th round, then. Point being - we don't need to use a high pick on an OG.

WOW, too much "Madden Mindset" for some. we need a 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. we can trade DOWN, like some have already said, it happens every year. We did it with Foster and Garnett, so its not like its something we're not familiar with. Multiple 2nds. or 3rds. or if we can get to the top of the 4th. ( and get ALL the players that fell to the 3rd. day. (too many talented players have come in the 4th.-6th. rds., ). My dream scenario is our 1st. for; 2nd., (2) 3rds., and (2-3) 4ths.

No 4th round pick either. It's going to be a pretty quiet draft weekend.

Wouldn't mind getting Hakeen Adeniji if he's still there. Would be worth developing as an OG for a year, but a decent combine will have him going before we get a shot most likely.
There is a lot of good corners in this years draft. Niners should try to nab one of them.

Then, it looks like an almost guarantee of trading down. We can't go into the draft without a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round picks.

Shocked you didn't know that Mayo since you're a regular and obviously a fan. It's one of the reasons I'm not confident that we will repeat next year. We don't have a lot of cap space either and a lot of that will be eaten up when we sign our free agents. Throw in the fact that only 8 losing teams have gone back the next year (Buffalo was 3 of those) and the chances aren't great.

I'm all for trading back if we can find someone willing unless a good WR, corner or O lineman slips to 31. Maybe we trade a player or 2 for some picks. Thomas and Pettis are both expendable but won't get much in return.

This. I want another edge rusher to spell Ford but we are going to have to do some other things to help our Dline out. Mix in blitzing, mix coverages, upgrade DB depth, and more explosion in the passing game on offense.
