How to stack Draft Picks for 2020?

Has anyone heard how Sherman feels about moving to safety. Lott did it and it worked out great. I think Sherman would be better at safety than he is at corner since he clearly has lost a step. With his size and ball skills and experience ( he was a receiver at Stanford) I'm thinking he may be able to get a lot of picks. Then they could use their pick on a corner if there's a good one at 31 or go WR if there isn't. Maybe Spoon can have a bounce back year and play like he did earlier.

He is against the idea, for now.
This draft could easily turn into the draft that never was.

Then, it looks like an almost guarantee of trading down. We can't go into the draft without a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round picks.

Shocked you didn't know that Mayo since you're a regular and obviously a fan. It's one of the reasons I'm not confident that we will repeat next year. We don't have a lot of cap space either and a lot of that will be eaten up when we sign our free agents. Throw in the fact that only 8 losing teams have gone back the next year (Buffalo was 3 of those) and the chances aren't great.

I'm all for trading back if we can find someone willing unless a good WR, corner or O lineman slips to 31. Maybe we trade a player or 2 for some picks. Thomas and Pettis are both expendable but won't get much in return.

I knew we didn't have a 2nd - but, forgot all about the 3rd and 4th rounders.

Yup it would only cost us our next 4 1st rd picks lol. s**t doesn't matter if the OL is allowed to hold all day anyway

This. I want another edge rusher to spell Ford but we are going to have to do some other things to help our Dline out. Mix in blitzing, mix coverages, upgrade DB depth, and more explosion in the passing game on offense.

Bulk up the O line big time and pick up a fast receiver. Pretty much everything else can wait.

What makes you say that?

I'm assuming he's talking about how few picks we have but teams have useless drafts with plenty of picks too. We could strike gold and get a couple of great players out of those group if we nail our first rounder and find another 5th round gem.

Harder to find impact players picking low and with few picks, especially when most of the roster will likely still be there after the SB trip.
