Bryan Edwards WR South Carolina

Big WR at 6-3 215

I'm just starting to watch some of his stuff and I'm impressed. He's smart and a pretty damn good route-runner. He gets coverages and finds soft spots.

He's tough, got YAC ability, good hands, he's got some good long speed. I've seen some people comp him to Michael Thomas (big praise there IMO).

Edwards is one of those fly-under-the-radar guys among fans, but not scouts. I've consistently seen him ranked among the top 10 WR prospects -- some even say top 5 -- by some very reliable draft sources. He's coming off an injury, but again, he's known as a top notch WR (and for good reason). I want to see how he times and stuff before slapping a definitive grade on him.

He's a little different of a player, but I see a hint of Michael Thomas in his game as well. In terms of size dimensions, they're basically identical.

Yeah agree that he's one of the best underrated prospects. After we drafted Deebo, I went back and looked at some SC games and oftentimes this kid stood out at WR even more so than Deebo. He looked more polished as a WR whereas Deebo was used more as a playmaker/gadget type player if that makes any sense. Not saying Edwards was the better player, just he did oftentimes look like the better WR imo

Yeah agility drills (40 time) will be big for him. I think Thomas ran like a 4.57 I do see a lot of similarities in their games though.
So he's like a bigger Deebo. I'll take that any day. South Carolina is kind of a sleeper when it comes to finding talent. They have the misfortune of having to play in the toughest conference nearly every year but they still play some competitive football. A good place to look when you're pick ing late.

Mentioned this guy a while ago, glad to see people noticing him now!! I think Shanahan has an eye on him!!

.....you can almost guarantee Deebo is reminding Shanahan about this guy every day. Lol
Will not be surprised 1 bit if he's a pick of ours, we love SC kids and SEC players in general

he's gonna be a 2nd round pick or late 1st. we have other needs than WR.

I don't think that's true at all. This draft is flush with WR talent and that's gonna drop dudes like Edwards.

I don't really care about needs with this roster. They're in a position to go BPA and if that happens to be a WR so be it.
