Ouch. I wasn't expecting a burner, but ouch. But hey, that just means my second round target is now a 4th round target I still believe dude can play, but can't take a 4.6 corner any earlier than the 4th

AJ had a great day and ran a 4.43 on both of his attempts at the combine today. He's plenty fast. He had a rough natty game this year, but the kid is a baller. Very physical and not afraid to make tackles, too.

EDIT--- my bad if you were referring to Dantlzer there.

Ya, sorry, we side tracked the thread a bit. AJ Terrell has looked like one of the 3 best during drills too, aside from his little trip up. Jaylon Johnson looking smooth as well.

Having another legit corner would take this defense to a new level.

If we could come out with AJ and Pittman Jr I'd be more than happy. Throw in OL depth/development in the 5th and I'm cool
Terrell & Henderson both looked sharp, fast, smooth...all the traits you want in a top CB.

fully AGREE, and it'll be even worse in the NFL... If I see them being an average type of corners, I would NOT draft them with our 1st pick... I'd trade down or out of the 1st instead...

If I'm going to reach for a CB in the late 1st round, DANZTLER would be my choice ..

Dantzler my guy as well..... if we go CB

Want to edit this to Gladney or Terrell if we go CB in 2nd

AJ Terrill had an outstanding all around Pro Day performance
CB AJ Terrill 6-1, 195 lbs., 4.37 40 yard, 7.09 3-cone, 34.5" vert, 129' Broad 15 bench reps Clemson (The 3-cone could have been a little better)
He will not be there at 31 but if he were He would be very hard to pass on

Would love him in a trade down. But I'm hoping for Xavier McKinney or Jalen Reagor with the first selection.

Interesting that such a fast 40 would come with such a mediocre vert. I'd assume the 40 measurement was a bit generous

Just curious, where are you playing McKinney in TC? Strong or free?

Also you like Reagor ahead of Mims, Higgins, and/or Aiyuk?

I'm playing McKinney at FS, and don't disagree with me because of 40 time or because Jimmie Ward said so. lol

I like Reagor over Mims because I think has more to offer with his Special Teams play and route running. I also think he'll likely be there in a trade down, I wouldn't count on Higgins being there at #31 or in the beginning of the 2nd round.

Agree

Also we may get a trade or FA that none of us expected.

CB is a need but not a fan of this guy where he is going to be drafted.

I've softened on my stance of him as well. I really just don't think this is a good class of CBs at all. I would rather roll with what we have then try to force the issue. It's not like we don't have other needs either.
