Noah Igbinoghene CB auburn

No one is talking about this kid?

Dude is a legit athlete freak. He's super explosive and was a former WR turned CB.

He's got a stocky build at 5-11 200lbs. Super physical in press and great vs the run.

Noah is still new to the position and learning anticipation on routes. And his footwork needs to be cleaned up.

He's a guy with a real high ceiling and having a yr to learn under sherm would be amazing for him. He can serve as our new return man next yr as well.

Prolly no one talking about him because THAT NAME! So they call him Iggy?

Lol yup just call him Iggy.
Did some research on him the other day. Haven't had a chance to view the tape so it's all just informational impression right now. General gist is he's a high upside player who is a project but has the traits to become a good pro if he continues to refine his skills at the position. At first impression, seems like a 3rd-4th round guy.
Kid reminds me of Bradley Roby. Athletic freak that converted to CB. Didn't watch him a lot college season, but when I did watch Auburn, he did stand out flying all over the field.
Far and away my favorite corner in the class. Aggressive, willing tackler, natural coverage skills in both man and zone. And all that after playing the position for only two years. Kid is a stud and I would be absolutely thrilled if we took him at 31 or traded back into the early 2nd and snagged him then.
Right on...I read about him on Walter Football's draft prospects. They rate him #7 CB in this draft...so, yeah, curious why he's not getting more coverage. The gist of WF's analysis is he was Auburn's best CB against very tough competition, and at this point is a better athlete than player but his ceiling's absurd. I'd bet he's on the Niner radar, as he should be.
I don't like his technique at all. Never looks for the ball in the games I watched. But his athleticism would be very much utilized in this defense.

I mean he's only been playing CB for two yrs. he's raw BUT has shown he can play, dude needs some coaching.

Imo he's not a day 1 starter. He'd been a kick returner and get to learn from sherm for a yr.
