Noah Igbinoghene CB auburn

If we trade back from 31 into the early second round, I will be clamoring for us to take this guy. He's raw, but plays physically at the line and has the physical traits to stick onto a guy for the duration of a game. What better place for him to develop than under Sherman.
I don't have any data to back this up, but drafting raw athletes at CB feels riskier to me than say drafting for raw athleticism in the trenches. maybe because I think that the strength aspect is more important there.
He's an upgrade day 1 as a special teamer. Could grow into a really nice CB.

You draft special teamers in Round 5, 6, 7, you don't draft them in the 1st round.

Its not just that.....

He has some bad habits too..... Ones that cause drives to keep moving.

I like him, but i am kinda shock people are talking about him as a 1st or second rounder. I think you could make as many examples of why he cant playing in the NFL as you can for why he can. That is normally the give and take you make for a 4th, 5th rounder.

But thats me, I normally struggle judging Auburn players, i see too much of them and tend to remember their failures too vividly, then have to remind myself these are kids playing a sport.

If you wanted a cant miss Auburn player, Jack Driscoll is going to be awesome in the NFL, and likely a 4th or 5th rounder. Great dude, Great personality, and almost flawless on the field.

Driscoll has ALOT Harris Barton in him, a lot of fighting in him but on the smaller side.
His hit on Clyde Edwards-Helaire
I think at either #31 or early 2nd rd if Lynch makes a trade he'd likely take WR Denzel Mims. He's the kind of big, explosive WR Coach would love to have (and so would Jimmy). This CB would be ok to draft if our entire starting defensive backfield weren't all FA's next year...but, they are so I'd pass on this guy and draft a sure-fire starter with plenty of experience.
