What this kids good tape? I just watched the Georgia tape and ND #84 and Reed from Georgia were the stand outs from that one.

That's what I'm saying

Ohh he's one of those kinda prospects. Okay onto the next

Yea, he only had over 1000 yards and 13 touchdowns this year. Nothing to see here /s.

College stats can definitely be misleading due to the combination of system-stemmed inflation and enormous gaps in competition. Always better to watch the player and see the traits and go from there.

As for Claypool, I still honestly wonder if he could stack on 5-10 more pounds and play TE.

I think that would be the better move/fit for him (TE)
Future all pro. Write it down. Tell your moms.

The Waller comp is a reasonable one imo. He'd have to add like 15lbs though. Some people are throwing out Evan Engram, but he's not as fluid or quick as him if Hurd is healthy then we have a better version of Claypool.
Megatron's legit since he was a freshman.. this kid, is just a Work Out Wonder at this moment... i'd be afraid to roll the dice on him early.. mid 3rd at best..

Oh and he had amazing QB play to assist

Hurd isnt the quickest guy either. On tape both look very simila, Hurd a bit more agile, but Claypool is bigger and faster.

Hurd is quicker. He ran like a 7.0 3-cone which is good for a 6-5 225 WR. He was a top recruit as a RB which requires good footwork and vision.

Claypool isn't quick laterally, hence why he didn't take part in any of the drills that show quickness. Claypool can't separate and his "speed" doesn't really show up on tape imo.

Hey I just disagree with what people see in Claypool and no one have two craps about him until he ran His 40.

We will see I guess

Yeah, you look at successful bigger receivers and a lot of them have good quickness to separate. Brandon Marshall ran a sub 7.0 three-cone, for example. Claypool may be best suited to play the Move TE position.

Where did you hear Hurd ran a 7.0 3-cone?
He didn't run the 3-cone at the combine or pro day.
NFL.com says this: "Leggy with below-average short-area quickness"

He did run a slow 40 and a slow 10 yd split at his pro day:
40 Yard Dash: 4.64 seconds
10 Yard Split: 1.62 seconds
http://nflcombineresults.com/playerpage.php?f=Jalen&l=Hurd&i=27351

Hurd seems to be a reach ... he was projected in the ~5th rd
49ers should have picked Maxx Crosby (who I loved)
or traded up for DK Metcalf who was selected 3 picks before Hurd
