Late Round picks

Looking at the Combine and checking on past NCAA stats, there are a few late round picks that could end up being a steal in this years Draft. A few that I have noticed are climbing up the Draft rankings but some are still going to be available on day 3. One such prospect is Reggie Robinson II. He is a CB from Tulsa. Another possible day 3 pick could be, ILB Evan Weaver from Cal. I am sure there maybe others...
Weaver is an interesting prospect. Guy is a producer and showed some decent, but not great athleticism, at the Combine. He would be a good two down LB and ST pickup for the Niners late.
Antonio Gibson WR/RB Memphis
Ranked #250 on NFL Draftscout but should go at least 100 picks higher.

Charlie Taumoepeau TE Portland St is ranked #355, he would be a good late round/UDFA. Ran a 4.75 40

Lajarius Sneed CB Louisiana State is ranked later rounds and ran a 4.37

Sneed has been a versatile player for the Bulldogs over his career. He has 176 total tackles, eight interceptions and 17 passes defended in his career. For 2019, Sneed has 72 total tackles, three interceptions and three passes defended.

At 6-foot-1 and 193 pounds, Sneed is a long and lanky corner for the NFL. He has a chance to be selected in the middle rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Projected Draft Range: Fourth round-sixth round

No way he lasts till the 6th round.

My guess would be late second early third.

Not sure where he'll go since he's still playing in the XFL but I have to say I'm intrigued by Kenny Robinson.

Props to adrianlesnar for bringing him up because honestly I haven't watched or followed a peep of the XFL but kid has played well from what I read and is an intriguing prospect who played pretty well at WVU before leaving school(apparently his mom had cancer)

This one too...i may have to keep an eye on him in the XFL now

I knew my thread would be good for something had quiet a few lesser talked about prospects in there.

As for Robinson,

Lol you got my attention for sure. Definitely uncharted territory with a guy actually playing "pro" football just days before the draft versus doing the rounds/combine etc...I don't even know if teams are allowed to meet with him to interview him or anything like that so hard to know where his draft projection should be.

I can see teams elevating him because he is playing in the XFL vs guys who either were in the NFL or near that level or lowering his stock because he's getting beat up so close to the season.

To me I see it as a definitely plus but the risk of injury is there with every game he plays which is why it's so hard to predict his round with a bunch of games left for him.

But from what i've seen I like the size, the willingness to hit and the range...definitely wouldn't mind us grabbing him but I do think he's probably 3-4th round range so a trade down is a must but at least now I have a reason to keep an eye on the XFL.

Thanks again for bringing him to my attention.
Nevelle Clark is a guy I'll have my eyes on for us late or UDFA. Kid definitely needs work in the weight room but I've seen some good things from him that if he gets stronger there can definitely be a nice find there.

Have to try to hit on some of these late rounders this year for sure.
What do you guys think of this player?

Late 4th-5th??

I'm confused...are you talking trading for him? Isn't he a free agent?

Pair him with Kittle and if he stidy and worked with Kittle. Boy that could be dangerous.

He apparently needs some pro weight training to help with the blocking aspect. I know at this point we need more blocking TEs than pass catching ones. However, only investing in a late round pick and developing him....

EDIT: yea watched some of his games. his blocking is.... Do not want

My new late round crush is Tanner Muse S, Clemson but like him as a LB. Especially on passing downs.

I also like Christopher Federick, CB, Syracuse. Looked decent versus Tee Higgins in '18. Cant find anything this year It does look like he gives up inside leverage rather easily. But i'm intrigued.
John Hightower, WR Boise State
