13th pick

Bet the raiders draft Ruggs...
I would not move the #13 pick unless we got a GREAT offer. We should get a very good player at that spot. Then I would trade back with the #31 pick.
So is this Ruggs guy the real deal or is a potential Pettis situation?

It could be anybody to be honest.
They have to think about life without Joe and this is actually the best OT class in years.
It could definetely be a WR and Jerry Jeudy is someone that I think Kyle would love even if Lamb is fantastic after the catch.
It could be an edge rusher and Chaisson is maybe the Brian Burns of this draft in term of high risk high reward.
Javon Kinlaw could fall and he is a great prospect.
Maybe they are in a "f**k it, let´s go for it" mode and will try everything to get Chase Young.
I fear that they could try to get a QB.
It´s really anybody guess because and I know it sounds weird, this roster is quite good top to bottom.
Bummed to see DeFo go but the draft just got about 1000% more interesting!

I think our combine visits paint a pretty clear picture which position group we are going in the first round.
Kinlaw, Jeudy, Lamb, or trade with someone who wants Tua if he drops
I don't know how to reconcile with my feelings.

Trading away Defo and drafting a WR at 13=
Henry Ruggs in Kyle Shanahan's offense=

They'll draft Juedy.
Everyone all excited about these two first round picks we got... We trading them both for a stockpile in rounds 2-4.
Get the Chaisson dude if he is actually legit and could be a Dee Ford clone.

Or get OT to replace Staley as we won't be drafting this high for a while.

Or Kinlaw to replace Buck.

Or trade back in the 1st and get a 2nd and 3rd.

Or trade back from #13 and get a future #1 in 2021 in case Jimmy sucks and we want ammo for Lawrence.

Or a WR.

Lots of options. All of them are good as long as we hit on our first round picks.
If the Niners can get Chaisson after 13, possible trade back to get him and try to get a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Trade 31 (if no BPA) and pick up whatever round wasn't gotten in first trade. Niners in need of DT, S, CB, OT, LB, C. UDFA's seem to be a specialty for Lynch. Lock Kyle in the closet during the draft
I would have loved it if there was a trade straight across, Buckner for Quinton Nelson! But, at least now this draft will be interesting. Will miss Buckner, I don't know if this was a good move. Only time will tell
