I guess Lamb, but he's not even in Julio's universe as an athlete. Julio Jones is an alien.

lol, the timing of Crock's tweet

If the Niners go WR at #13, I hope they get the guy that best fits this offense and also is a good complement/1-2 punch with Deebo.

I think both Jeudy and Ruggs are great fits and complimentary players to Deebo.

But I'm not sure I'm fully on board with taking a WR at 13.

I'm with you on unsure about taking a WR at 13. What if by chance a stud OT is there such as Wirfs? Or, one of the DTs, Brown or Kinlaw?
I like KINLAW, I have him ranked a hassle ahead of BROWN..

I would say Denzil Mims

Where would a tackle play in 2020? You don't select a guy at 13 to have him sit for a year or two until a spot comes open.

Those guys could play guard for a year, I don't doubt that. If we are taking bpa, then those 4 tackles and if Brown drops will be on the table along with the big 3 receivers. I mean if you don't think Lynch isn't considering one of these tackles who could potentially be a starter for the next decade, then I don't know what to tell you. Lynch knows where games are won or lost and if we look at his draft history, then my bet is that we are drafting someone who weighs a lot

Sticking a top tackle at guard for two seasons until Staley (possibly) retires is a waste of draft capital. You might as well draft a guard (at 31 or later) this year and a tackle two years from now.

Btw, Staley says he's playing out his current contract. So that's 2020 and 2021.

I would take one those OT and stick McGlinchey at G for 2 years
they are that good!

I like all 3 and think all 3 would be a terrific add.

Same speed as Marquisse Goodwin How's that worked so far?

Speed is the only thing they have in common.

Look how good Goodwin played for us in 2017.

What? his whopping 2 touchdowns in 2017? U gonna draft someone at 13th overall hoping he can match what Goodwin did in 2017? Please don't act like Goodwin was a thousand yard, 10+ TD guy that year.. Stats don't mean much, but his stats from 2017 were overbloated due to the niners always getting blown out thus requiring much more passes...

You missed his main point which is speed is about the inky thing the two have in common.

Goodwin despite all his speed never topped 450 yards or 3 TDs at Texas in his 4 years there and his highest average per catch was 13.1 yards.

Compare that to Ruggs who played in the SEC...his worst season was as a freshman where he had 229 yards for 19.1 ypc and 6 TDs.

His worst YPC season was as a sophomore where he averaged 16.1 ypc...with 11 TDs.

The guy is a much better route runner, much better hands and plays much tougher than Goodwin.

Btw Tyreek Hill has similar speed...look how well he did. Oh wait..

This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Because Goodwin and Ruggs are both fast, they are the same guy?

Clearly the major dimension missing to the offense and what hurt the passing game down the stretch is a lack of elite speed that doesn't allow defenses to continually creep up to the line. They need that guy to keep defenses honest. Ruggs is a more complete receiver than Goodwin in every way but gives you that legit homerun speed.

Trade back from 31 to get a couple day 2 picks for other essential positions

Use one of the 5th rounders on whatever WR slips, cause you know someone good will

Bingo!

So you draft a guy to play one of your current starters at a position that he's never played at?
Jeudy. He's what Shanny wants. An excellent route runner with good speed and can make plays with the ball in his hands. I'm not as high on Lamb as others. He's a good prospect, but his route running abilities are a bit overrated IMO. Lacks suddenness and explosiveness in his routes. He can surprise defenders with his stride length and stack them routinely, but I really think he might struggle against Press. His release is just okay. He has great hands and body control though, but we haven't seen him play against top defenses like Jeudy has. Big-12 defense is a joke. I think Ruggs or Reagor (at his value) are better prospects for what Shanny wants. I would prefer for the niners to get Jeudy if he's there at 1.13 and trade the 1.31 for more picks in 2nd/3rd.
