But obviously there are questions with him so it's a boom/bust pick but someone so talented playing with other talented players I would think the odds of him being a boom is better.

Chris Jones is not a bad comp for Kinlaw. Actually, they're very similar players coming out. Kinlaw has that type of potential.

The difference is Chris Jones was drafted in the second round. He was much less of a gamble than drafting a guy 13th overall.

ACL injury takes him off my top 10 list - reckon he'll be there at #13, if we choose to take him.

When did he tear his ACL? Not sure why you keep saying this? I don't think that happened

I don't know exactly when - I'm trying to find out. I'll get back to you.

I'll save you some time he didn't

Well, NY - I can't find it anywhere, I swear I read that he tore it a couple of years ago. But, all I can find is a hip injury in 2017. I guess that's good news, since I dropped him in my rankings. I guess now I feel better taking him if he's available at #13.

Yup no ACLs

I would lose my f**king mind if we drafted him at #13. We had a young all pro stud. You don't trade him just to draft a guy at the same position.

I agree. It's also just a poor allocation of resources. We spend some of the most on dlinemen, and we have allocated to many first round picks on interior dlinemen. Other parts of the team need resources.

Yup. We couldn't stop KC when it mattered with Buck and co it's definitely not going to happen with a player not even close to the same level. At #13 we need a game changer. Either a stud WR, CB or a damn OL to give JG more than 2 seconds to throw the ball. You pay a lesser guy (Arik) and trade the all pro (Buck) to add something to another portion on your roster not draft a guy who plays the same position.

I agree completely with the three positions you highlighted. Plus if kris kocurek is as good everyone says he is, we should be able to get some one in The 2nd or 3rd(via a trade back from the 31st) who can be solid there.
