Interesting edge prospect that has largely fallen under radar. He had a really nice showing at the Combine where his athletic performance matched the explosiveness shown in game film. He looks limited to being a pass rush specialist but someone that could fit well in this scheme and be developed potentially into a 3 down player.

I think Toohill is a 4-down player who could make a mark on STs early too. Someone to watch in the 5th-6th rounds. Outside chance he sneaks into the 4th if some team really liked him.

Casey Toohill, Stanford: Toohill made himself some money with a big combine: a 4.62 clocking in the 40, a position-best 39-inch vertical jump and a position-best 30 on the Wonderlic. A late bloomer, he didn't start until his third year (2018), and that season ended after seven games with an ankle injury. He had an eight-sack season in 2019 as an OLB in a 3-4. "Awesome kid," said one scout. "He's on that fringe of maybe being able to start."
