Just trying to get a feel for the prospects that are overvalued (or "overrated").
Don't cop out and say "A 1st round guard!" Give me a name.
For me:
Justin Herbert (I don't think the 49ers will be looking for a QB and he won't make it to their pick, but I get Ryan Tannehill vibes from this dude)
Raekwon Davis (not everyone that plays for Nick Saban is some awesome player)
There are 285 users in the forums
I will be furious if the 49ers draft.....[finish the sentence]

If the Niners pass on Ruggs and takes Kinlaw. The reason being is that the Dline, even without Defo is still a strength and Wide Receiver is not. I know people are going to say that this WR class is so deep that you get a good one with the #31 pick or even the late rounds but will they be #1 Calibre game changer type wide Receivers? Ruggs,Jeudy, and Lamb are all #1 type talent. Niners don't need a good #3 guy, they have that with Bourne and Hurd/Taylor if healthy. They need a guy who will be right up there with Deebo as a threat. The one good thing about letting Sanders go is it forces the Niners to stick with their plan to take a WR with the #13 pick and not get away from it because I don't think Sanders at his age is that guy either. If the Niners become a passing threat the offense will be unstoppable because their run game is the best in the league, And the defense won't need to be as good as it was last season.

K'Lavon Chaisson
I don't think he'll go top 15, but I'd be pissed if we take him. He may be the 2nd best edge rusher in the class behind Chase Young (although Simmons could do anything better than Chaisson in the pros) but there's a massive gap between Young and Chaisson.
Short arms for an edge rusher (32 1/4") and only 8.5 sacks in two years despite playing with an elite secondary. Missed 2018 with a torn ACL and two games in 2019 with an ankle injury. He seems like a guy whose stock benefited from a ton of national exposure playing for LSU and winning a national championship.
He's a high character guy (wore #18 at LSU) and a great athlete (wish he had tested at the combine), but his lack of length, injury history, and production make him a tough sell at 13.

It's funny you say that. That is partially my thought with the "big 3" at WR and some others. But this isn't the thread for that.
Now to get on topic. Furious is a strong word for me. But.... if we replace Defo straight up for another DT.

Well, a rookie DT is going to be a lot easier on the salary cap. That being said I doubt we will spend one of our 1st's unless there is a drop dead must-take still there.

I understand why they traded Defo. Just think it would be a waste to draft one at 13 thus making it a straight up swap.

Dudes soft with little to no effort in run support or in tackling. He seems to struggle to locate the ball in the air. He is decent in coverage nothing special. I think his future is in man to man not zone. He is a shorter version of Akello imo

I too think he's best in man. I also think when game is on the line we tend to play more man than zone for whatever reason.
