Yeah that's nightmare fuel.

I just don't see how you can think CB is not a need.

Correct...we need a pair of cover corners. We did not and do not have a corner who can stick with a guy all over the field. Nobody we have can do that. Sherm used to be able to do that but after the Achilles, no way. We NEED a cover corner. Starter OL first, starter DT second and WR 3rd....or get the CB there.

We play a lot of zone coverage. The type of corner you're describing seems like a better fit for man coverage.

Correct,,,,that is exactly what we need, and we do play lots of zone, but not all the time and we need somebody who can Stick with a guy like glue

We used more zone coverage than any team in the league. That's pretty frequent.

Speaking of which he responded to some fan on a social media Q&A, if he could be drafted by any team which one and he answered the 49ers. Well if he wants to be forever compared to Buckner I guess that's a good answer but he should've just answered which ever team picks me.
Would NOT be furious if the Niners did the second option down:

Has there ever been a draft pick you were upset with at the time that later proved you wrong?

Example, I was not a fan of the McGlinchey pick but am glad we have him. At the time I did not like the Aldon Smith pick, but didn't take long to love the pick. At the time I thought we would go QB even though it seemed like a weak class but I liked Robert Quinn better than Aldon. Its tough because of what happened to Aldon but when he played he was so dominant. Sorry to bring that back up, but any that turned into

I wasn't a fan of AA. He got better every year though and surprisingly grew into a great DE. Incidentally, I think part of the reason Kittle is so good at blocking the edge is having to block Armstead in practice.
do not draft any offensive linemen
