I will be furious if the 49ers draft.....[finish the sentence]

Those are mine as well.
I don't really have anyone I really don't like and I don't want to put myself in that position since we rarely take the guys that I like.

But if I had my way I wouldn't take a CB at 13. I see why we would but I'd rather extend the guys that we have.
.......a CB or LB @#13.....
Probably a DT, because the refs will just let let the other team hold them anyway, so whats the point? How does that make us better? OL still sucks. Receivers still aren't any good.

Other than that, I have nothing against Kinlaw or Brown as prospects. I just question the haste in addressing interior DL this soon even though Buck is gone

I would take Brown if he fell to 13 but I doubt he will. I just hope they don't draft a project. You know a guy that they want to move to a new spot or develop. We need an impact guy at #13 since we have so few picks. I'm not against an OL but that won't light up the fanbase even though it could be as smart pick.

Same here.
Derrick brown, Javon Kinlaw, Chaisson, or Becton.
The first two especially, you can't start 11 3-techs.

Browns not a 3 tech but I agree I don't want him
If Lynch doesn't pick Kinlaw or Andrew Thomas. DT and LT are the two biggest holes on the team...if Staley does retire. As the SB proved, you win or lose in the trenches. All the great Niner teams had kick-butt guys in the trenches.
Don't want a DT, OT or Lamb. Anyone not named Henry Ruggs or Jerry Jeudy I'll be pissed

Agreed, the trenches are always incredibly important in games - winning in this area on both sides of the ball gives you an excellent chance to win the game (especially when you have a playmaking QB like Garoppolo). That's why I'm a big fan of building them back up for this team.

On the DL, the middle is my biggest concern...I really like Jones & hoping he can stay healthy...the other guys in the middle (I hope they keep Armstead at DE mainly) to me are purely rotational pieces who only give you so much and I wouldn't want to count on them for an entire season as I feel they'd be exposed in games. If Kinlaw is somehow there at #13, you take him.

For the OL, RG & C are the biggest question marks going into this season (assuming Staley comes back at LT). Perhaps Brunskill will show he's the answer at RG but he needs some quality competition...I like what he did last year and his versatility. I also like Richburg at C when he's healthy as I feel he does a good job directing traffic and executing what's needed at C in this scheme. He's got to stay healthy, stay on the field...that was a tough break for him in that game vs. NO last year. Maybe they pick up a guy like the Michigan C, Riuz, in the 2nd after trading out of #31.

Wait...I couldn't imagine the 'Zone if the Niners went DL & OL with their first two picks. Meltdown central.

Why do you think Joe is retiring?

Our problem in the trenches vs Kansas City was up the middle and not on the edges. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no Quenton Nelson or Travis Frederick in round 1.

I will be FURIOUS if we take an offensive tackle as it is only a future need. Taking a tackle does absolutely nothing to improve this team this season. Even if Staley retires, Brunskill played very well at Left Tackle in his absence. And he very well could be our starting right guard.

Brunskill had a pff pass blocking grade of 81 and a 73 overall grade. That is outstanding for an undrafted free agent thrown right into the fire. He should only get better with experience.

Left tackle, while not a wasted pick for the future. Is a wasted pick this year, especially if Staley comes back.
