Do not delay. Host the draft remotely. Broadcast their draft parties, team war rooms, etc. Nobody except the athletes themselves, which sucks for them, will miss attending the actual draft event. The only thing the true fans care about is who their team is picking.
btw the ratings will be insane. Fans are dying(no pun) for sports content.

I don't know. I says every team is probably ready to pick by now, I know who I'd pick already.

There cannot be team war rooms for teams in certain states. This is a disadvantage, hence why the GMs are wanting this delayed

Yeah. With everything going on, would be nice to have a sense of normalcy to take our minds off of things. This is a good article outlining the concerns

Why not? They can connect remotely same as the rest of us have to. Put all teams under the same restrictions and go with it.

Yeah, these GM's complaining wanting this Pandemic to go away so they can have their regular draft preparation are in a dream land. It's going to be a long time before this virus disappears. Get with the rest of the world and adapt.

These guys have years of tape and they pretty much know everything they need to know about most of these prospects.
Like Tony Kornheiser said yesterday, if anything, this will separate the good GMs from the s**tty ones.

Sports fans need something besides re-runs of old games. They already announced that it won't be held in Las Vegas and there will be no live audience. It can be done with Skype or some other technology. I know they can't do the pre draft physicals but the NFL could do something that would allow any team that drafts a player that later fails a physical to regain that pick in the next draft. I'm just spit balling but there are ways around this.

Oh I agree that they should all be under the same guidelines , but per that article I linked above, it appears that is not the case as it stands now. My guess is if they move ahead then they all will be under the same guidelines
