He's too perfect of a fit in this scheme. Athletic enough to even be moved to DE in some pass rush situations, he could be a prime target if some team doesn't go and snatch him before the second round based on that potential. If we keep 31, that could even be us.
I've been saying he really is a perfect fit for this defense...he's a much better trade down candidate at 31 vs being a top 31 pick though. Imo that's a reach.

A-gap 75
B-gap 435
Over the TKL 23
Outside the TKL 42
He lined up all over the place...you know lynch likes that.

I think at 31, you can create a tier of guys that you are thrilled with taking at 45 or so. There's a chunk of DT and CBs that would be good fits and good values there. Madubuike being one of those guys. And if you make the move, you are picking up something around the 75th pick as well, to address another need. Not saying that is the only way to go, Really depends on what we do at 13, and what guys are on the board at 31. But if you targets disappeared and no one slid back at 31 and you are going to overreach on someone, could be a good time to slide back and really stay within the same tier of prospects.

Off topic, but can you please post or PM Arik Armstead snap count by alignment this past season?

I don't have those #s this was from PFF draft guide. I think you need the elite vision to get that info for NFL players.

Justin Madubuike is a ton of fun. Explosive first step off the line with lightning-quick hands. Madubuike has a ton of pass rush upside from the 3T spot at the next level. He's a Top 50 player for me. pic.twitter.com/yJc6M0bOAe

He may not be the flashiest or sexiest pick in the world, but Justin Madubuike is exactly what the Packers could use on the defensive line. Just an absolute gtfom play here. pic.twitter.com/bZeKDHWUMf

Texas A&M's Justin Madubuike enters NFL draft with John Randle-like skills https://t.co/7QwKFeRqQX

It sounds crazy to compare him to someone of that stature but that's really one of the best comparisons I've seen. Really unique body type, power, speed, motor and plays with tremendous leverage.
Justin Madubuike (@MadubuikeJustin) of Texas A&M, should be a solid DT in the NFL. He plays with really good leverage and held his own against Many top offensive linemen in College. #TAMU pic.twitter.com/mJfnRrJbDn

May your 2020 be filled with as many wins as Justin Madubuike racked up in the All-22. pic.twitter.com/I2MQd8hWG5

He actually has Madubuike rated HIGHER than Kinlaw his NFL comp is Geno Atkins. I'm telling ya this kid could a monster in this defense.

welp, you're not alone on that! I really don't want to spend a top 50 pick on DT BUT if we move down and get some extra picks I got no problem getting him.
