Rumor is that the season will only be played on Madden and you're the new e-GM.

AKA we're drafting a OT in the first and a WR in the 2nd

Not really a rumor...but Matt Maiocco says he won't be surprised to see the Niners trade out of the #13 position if the guys at the top of their draft board are gone. Think about it...much more value trading out of #13 than 31. They'd still come out of it with 2 1st rounders, plus potentially a lot more for rds 2-5. The focus has been on trading out of #31...and that could still happen, but what if they traded out of both? They'd still have a 1st rd pick, plus flesh out picks in the 2-5 rds. Nice to have that many options.

I find it funny that before the Defo trade everyone and their momma wanted to trade down for more picks. Everyone was all happy with the depth then.
Then all of a sudden we get the 13th and the draft pool is now tainted after 13.
"The 49ers will have plenty of options at different positions with the No. 13 overall pick," writes Maiocco. "If they love a player in that spot, they will undoubtedly make their selection. ... But if one or two targeted players are not there when it's the 49ers' turn to select in three weeks, they will almost assuredly look to bail out of No. 13. That would allow the 49ers to pick up more selections to take advantage of what is expected to be a deep draft at a number of different positions of need."

Yes, that trend of locking onto their guy is well documented to date and must be factored in when trying to predict who they'll pick.
Who at 13 would be their guy?
