My thing is that there probably will be a run late 1st or early second and I think there is a cluster of CB's in that range. I'm not the biggest Fulton fan and have a few in that cluster before him. They did say on the podcast that a lot of teams had him as CB3 so he should go late 1st. 20's or so perhaps?

Dane gave him a 2nd/3rd round grade on the Beast. Zierlein also has him as CB7

No its a big deal, it shows a character flaw, and a mistake. Young people are apt to make mistakes. It was however a victimless crime, and I don't think he has a track record of bad life choices. If he learned from it, it could actually be a strength.

I have no idea how the 49ers will look at it though.

Maybe because of the 2017 suspension when he falsified his drug test? Huge red flag IMO.
from the Beast:
SUMMARY: A two-year starter at LSU, Fulton lined up as the left cornerback in defensive coordinator Dave Aranda's NFL press-man scheme, also seeing snaps inside
vs. the slot receiver. After his one-season ban and two season-ending injuries, he returned to Baton Rouge in 2019 with plenty to prove and he earned high grades in
coverage as a senior. Fulton has a patient process to stay under control in his transition movements, displaying the athletic and mental requirements to match
receiver steps mid-route. He shows the instincts and toughness to handle nickel duties, but must become a more reliable run defender. Overall, Fulton has room to
improve his tackling and body positioning downfield, but he stays in the pocket of receivers with his disciplined process, athletic traits and feel for reading breaks,
projecting as an average-level NFL starter.

Overview

Press-man cornerback whose 40 percent rate of completion as an LSU Tiger may not tell the entire story as an NFL prospect. Fulton has good size and is usually searching to make plays on the football. He plays with decent eye balance in off-coverage but can be a tad late with response time. Once he gets behind he tends to stay behind against multi-breaking routes and his long speed and recovery burst are below average. Fulton showed improvement throughout the year, but his confidence has been an issue at times. When the pros and cons are balanced, he appears to be a good backup with a chance to work up the ladder.

youtube has a couple of Cherry Picked videos that show snap for snap every single down he was on the field against a collection of teams.

They don't have Auburn 2018, thats not surprising considering it was not a great game for him. Even his good games their is a mixed bag. What really stands out more then anything from his 2019 games is that LSU pass rush. People were running for their lives against that defense.

I don't think Fulton would be a good fit for any team that plays a single high safety, but he does look like an NFL player.

LSU's pass rush helped him a ton, but there are more then a few snaps he let the WR get an inside release and it looks like he is about to be ran by on many snaps. There are just as many snaps were he shown VERY good short range burst. Elite levels of short range closing ability.

Sure would look pretty good in red and gold right about now.
