I like Jefferson, imo he's a slot only WR at the next level though.

I welcome all takes NY I don't see him this way curious why you do. He has size to play outside.

FTR I'm still on the Ruggs train, but if he is off the board, then I want to get creative if we can pick up a 2nd and still land an impact maker.

Hey, we all like who we like. Like the positions drafted. The players themselves just not my cup of tea.

But thats on me.

He's got the size and the athleticism to play outside and he has very good hands. He also played outside productively in 2018 in a run heavy offense. I think people are overthinking it and looking at his production in 2018 vs. 2019 without factoring in that LSU had more than twice as many passing yards in 2019. He had a higher percentage of their receiving yards in 2018 playing outside and was moved inside because they have two other big outside WRs.
Love- Capitalizing on a what we hope is a rare top 15 pick. I hope we get BPA, and someone with rare talent slips to 13.

Settle- Solve next years problem with some one that can be penciled in at OL-CB at 13 and a tier 2 or tier 3 WR at 31.

Hate- reaching for a good but not great talent at 13

This would be a hard draft to ruin for me, its almost impossible that there will not be a great OL or WR at 13. This draft has at least 9 Bluechip( one edge, one LB, one CB, 3 tackles and 3 wrs) players you take if they fall to you, and then there is always teams that need QBs.
Love: Lamb/Jeudy
Hate: reach for a DB
Settle: Ruggs/kinlaw/OL

Love: Ruggs

Settle: Any of the usual names thrown around in the top 15.

Hate: Trading down from 13. I think we have a great opportunity to add a player who can make us very good now. Buckner was a stud, go for broke and try to replace him with one. Don't dilute the pick down like the Pats did with the Jimmy Garoppolo trade because they were afraid to associate that kid with Jimmy.
genus49 what if we trade down to say 17 got a 2nd and landed Jefferson? That's about the only scenario I can live with as well. I don't have Jefferson far outside the top 3 personally.

I wouldn't hate that but my issue is when you trade down you're risking a chance the board doesn't go your way.

You have that risk if you stay put too. I think you at least need to have a trade back ready in case your player isn't there so you can shift to plan B. That's where good relations with other teams come into play. You need to be fairly certain that none of the teams are going to grab your trade back target either thru phone calls or team needs.

Love, drafting one of the top 3 receivers.

Hate, if we trade down whilst one of the top 3 receivers are available.

Settle,drafting a D-lineman.

Love: Trade down and get OL/WR/CB/DL from day 1 and day 2 picks
Settle: stay at #13, draft WR or OL
Hate: trade into top10 for a LB/QB/RB/Punter
Love - drafting Judy, Ruggs or Lamb at 13 or trading down for a 1st rounder next year
Settle - drafting Derrick Brown or top tier OT (ie Wirfs) at 13.
Hate - Trading up in the first round.
