No man. Baalkes only good draft came off scotties board. Every draft under his regime was a dumpster dive for damaged goods and underachievers. In fact if armstead and ward didnt rise from the dead last year its very likely not a single player on the roster would be from baalke draft boards.

2011- Aldon Smith, Kaepernick, Daniel Kilgore(who is starting for Mia now and had a higher PFF grade than Richburg)
2012- sucked
2013- Eric Reid, Vance McDonald
2014- Ward, Hyde, Borland
2015- Ward, Armstead, Trnet Brown, Pinion,

Now lets look at Lynch

2017- Kittle, DJ Jones
2018- McGlinchey, Warner
2019- BIG HIT

But as you see even Lynch only hitting on 2 per draft.

Easy to criticize Baalke and look at the 2012 draft and say he was a failure but he was pretty much on par with almost every GM. You can only really expect 2 players per draft. Anything extra is gravy.
Kap vance borland and pinion were washouts. Aldon 1.5 seasons. Hyde under achiever stupid draft pick with frank on the roster. Don't want to start having bulky memories. Point is go for The Playmakers the guys who can make a difference. Don't reach for dinged up camp fodder or guys who will be career backups. Doesn't win you championships. What determines if you should trade up down or stay is strictly your assessment of the player that you would take at that position. That's all. Trade back if you have real targets for when you trade back. Don't just do it because you get more Jimmie Johnson points.

Jefferson, Mims, Aiyuk, Higgins, Pittman, Blacklock, Madabuike, Yetur Gross-Matos, Epenesa, Chaisson, Ruiz, Jackson, Cleveland, Hennessey, Cushenberry, Terrell, Johnson, Hall, Taylor could all be guys that they are targeting and feel they can get additional picks to get maybe even more than 1 or 2 of them even.

I'm fine with Ruggs, Jeudy, Kinlaw, or Brown at #13 then going any of the other defenders or receivers at #31. But if trading down can get 3 or 4 of those other players then hell yeah.

Baalke wasn't a terrible talent evaluator, he was just a jerk, an egoistical maniac that undermined and didn't listen to his coaching staff. The NFL seems to be moving away from those types (John Dorsey). Dave Gettleman's on the clock.

The Niners are the ones that trade up for Ruggs

Why did you leave off the 2019 picks?

2019 - Bosa, Samuel, Greenlaw

My suspicion is Moore and J. Taylor are going to be added to the 2018 list in the future too. The FO's first two picks were F's for sure though. S. Thomas was a horrible pick when it was mind. I was totally pissed. Foster was a flyer. Regardless...both F's.

If my boy Wills is there I'd be doing backflips.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be so stoked if we take Ruggs, Jeudy, Brown, or Kinlaw at 13 too.

There is no draft that ever existed where a team took five players after number 13 that were all better than the player taken at number 13

I'm fairly sure the Seachickens have a draft that comes close.

Did Baalke ever pick as high as Lynch?

I mean big hit is self explanatory.

Then there's that. My point wasn't to sh*t on Lynch. Just to Show Baalke wasn't as bad as some make him out to be.
