Did Baalke ever pick as high as Lynch?

Then there's that. My point wasn't to sh*t on Lynch. Just to Show Baalke wasn't as bad as some make him out to be.

I didn't think Baalke was bad, I just think he stopped listening to Harbaugh.

Harbaugh was coming directly from the college game, he knew about the players because he was trying to recruit them a few years prior (same as Pete Carroll when he got to the Seahawks) while at Stanford. I think Baalke listened to Harbaugh the first year or two then went rouge when the team started to experience success.

No, highest was Buckner.

That changes a lot.

But then there is Kittle in round 5, Jones in round 7.

Baalke drafted Blair, Ward, Tartt, AA, Buck, Reid, Trent Brown, Hyde, Kilgore, Bruce Miller etc and brought in guys like Boldin.

Jordan Love goes in the top 13

This is what i want, one of the WR triumvirate still there at #13. We trade back, TUA is there and we take Thomas / or #1 DT Kinlaw. We pick up 100 pts if we still get our guy two slots later which equates to 4th pick in rd 4. So we still got our guy, Thomas,/Kinlaw but pick up an early 4th rd pick. That is the candy surprise.

But that isn't realistic.. Kyle goes fug buck and can't turn down one of the WR triumvirate. Big surprise is he is nicked up like Hurd, TT, Jet, McK, and pettis and flames out.

Wait, logic prevails and JL says nope! We take Thomas / Kinlaw anyway.

Borland was R3. Give Kyle credit for finding UDFA in Breida and Bourne. Also he gave Mostert the chance he needed in this offense.
And by the way I am very far from saying Lynch and chani are drafting geniuses. They made plenty of mistakes too many really. All I'm saying is last year they did the obvious. And look what happened.

If my boy Wills is there I'd be doing backflips.

Agree on this. Twinkle toes will easily be the best pass pro on the line from the lombardi blurbs.

But can he play guard.

i didn't take credit away from kyle. you clearly aren't paying attention to what's being discussed

Buck was....8? Aa was 17? I think i mixed up reid and armstead. Baalke had plenty of mid round first picks.

Buck was 7 like Aldon. Armstead was 17 (traded down 2 spots), Reid was 18.
Thank you.

So sensitive. No sure I mentioned anyone taking anything away from Kyle, but interpret the way you want. Lol
