Not a surprise but the niners will trade down if Wills/Wirf/Thomas or Ruggs aren´t there at 13th.
I think Ruggs is the only WR they want in the first round because of the speed factor. He can do what the other do with the slants, the yac potential and the blocks on the run game. He ´s the only one that can be a true deep threat.
But their first option is building the trenches with a LT.

Last year I was 99% sure that we would take Bosa in the 1st round. This year my head is spinning with al the possibilities. WR, OL, DB, trade back. Anything could happen.

I wouldn't be shocked if we drafted Tristan Wirfs.

To be more precise, Andrew Thomas.

I don't have one but I just saw Daniel Jeremiah of NFL network mocking Justin Jefferson to us at 13. And I've seen that same mock by a few other guys but I really don't get it, seems like a severe reach.

As strictly a guard... he could be an all-pro.
Drafting him would be a huge risk but could reward us big time.
You can't do better than Wirfs run blocking in a zone scheme... he's perfect.
His pass blocking is so inconsistent though. I would be happy but there would be a lot of crying on here lol.

He'll be long gone, IMO.

I think it's really hard for teams this year to project what other teams want to take because the WR evaluation is probably all over the place with how deep that 2nd tier is, and then you probably have some overlap between that 1st tier and 2nd tier because there's no elite WR prospect either. On top of that with all the covid stuff I guess there's probably less gossip among scouting personnel.
So you might see a lot of minor "reaches" beacuse teams are less confident in being able to trade down while still getting their guys. Honestly, there could be like 5 different players who would be the 4th WR taken. Jefferson, Mims, Aiyuk, Reagor, Higgins.

Idk about that. I think Thomas goes first.. then Wills... then possibly Becton

25% of the first round selections will be offensive line.
Wirfs, Wills, Becton, Thomas, Jackson, Cleveland, Ruiz, Wilson, Jones - 7 to 9 of those players will be first round picks.
