49ers open to trading both pics ???

It's the Niners and the draft... so yes I'm prepared for some disappointment lol. I could see the trading both picks. And some players too.

LIKE I SAID IN PREVIOUS THREADS!!!- There will be good; WR, CB, OG, and DT ., from later 1st.rd.-UDFA in this draft (esp. WR, and IOL). I mean if we cud get say: a 1st. rounder(20th-25th), our original 2nd. rounder back, 2-3rds., and 2 4ths., (purely HYPOTHETICAL, don't get nerdy analytical on me, YOU may have that much time, but I don't). would you do it ?? OR-TELL ME/US yay or nay, why, and what wud you do/take for the #13 and #31 pics ???

How many roster spots do we have left?
We are already stacked with talent, not like in the baalke years when there was room for 10-12 draft picks on the 53.

LOL

OK, it was easy for a rookie to make the team that went to 3 straight NCFCG and a Super Bowl...

We had two all world Safety's (Whittner/Gholdson), two all world LBer's (Willis/Bowman), two all world OLB's (A. Smith/Brooks), Stud front (Cowboy, Soap, I. Williams/R. Mcdonald/ P. Haralson), we didn't even need top flight CB's (C. Rogers/Brown). On offense: two stud QB's (CK7/A. Smith), GOAT at RB (Frank Gore/A. Dixon/B. Jacobs/), two all world TE's (VD/Celek/D. Walker), 4 nice WR's (Crabtree/R. Moss/T. Ginn/Manningham), Best O/L in football (Staley/A. Davis/Iupati/J. Goodwin/Looney/Boone/).

I don't see plenty of open roster spots. We had two starting QB's on the roster!!!

Crap. How did that team lose?

Trade down from 13 and snag Jefferson

I think its a mistake to look at the roster construction for only this year. Look at what happened in the 2012 and 2013 drafts. Through both we drafted one starter in Eric Reid and a couple contributors (Patton, Dial, V. McDonald). Those drafts were atrocious. You throw in 2014, which only netted us Ward and Hyde (plus contributors Ellington, D. Johnson, and A. Lynch), over those three years we gained three starters. The poor drafting was exactly why the team went from NFC championship in 2013, to 8-8 in 2014, to terrible, because we were not replacing talent with talent. The point of all this is we cannot assume that because our roaster is in good shape this year that we should not take advantage of the opportunity to turn pick 13 into a later first round pick, a 2 and a 3. This front office has done a good job. Drafting three top 100 players provides the best opportunity to land a star and land other starts/contributors - it's just not as exciting or sexy as drafting Ruggs at 13. If there is a good trade offer and the front office likes the talent of the draft likely to be at the picked obtained then its the smart choice to trade. If ShanaLynch likes Ruggs more than 2-3 players combined then the team should draft Ruggs, or Lamb, or Jeudy.

all wev been shown is expect the unexpected. expect them something to do very risky. unfortunate because if they draft conventionally we have the draft capital to get some real difference makers. but for whatever reason it seems like this 49ers FO wants to be in the headlines for the most dramatic moves every year.

They also, ya know, built a super bowl team in the process lol
Ridiculous. Just Yorks bein cheap. Completely blowing up the roster to save money, get no names and dinged talent on the cheap. Guess they bet the farm on oil futures.

Wish you would step back from that ledge, my friend....
Pics of who?
Nothing wrong with letting the word out that they are open to trade offers for certain players or trading back in the draft. You never know what teams will offer. That doesn't mean they will do either.

There's honestly so many different ways the board could fall with where we're at at 13 . His quote doesn't mean we're for sure trading out no matter what lol

Trade down from #13 to Vikings for #22, #58 and #132 - take Austin Jackson OT at #22 and A.J. Terrell at #31. Take a WR at #58, either Shenault or Pittman.
