John Lynch said Brandon Aiyuk and, of course, Javon Kinlaw were two of the six players targeted with their first selection.

yeah......I dunno if anyone buys that. But not sure what you'd expect them to say at this point. Whats done is done.

Listening to Kyle talking to Aiyuk just after selecting him you know it was a draft crush
and i believe him when he says he would have picked him #14 if Kinlaw wasn't available
and i find this scary
Kyle has a tendency to overvalue the draft positions

Seing how great Deebo is for Kyle's offense I don't doubt that Aiyuk was one of those 6 players since he has a very similar skill set.

I gotta think he means:
Young, Simmons, 4 OT's, and maybe Lamb... someone in the Hopkins/Dez Bryant/AJ Green Mold that can truly dominate on the outside.
i think you are right, the problem was wording..... the word ever throws everything off.
CBs are rarely foundational.
Every once in a generation you get a Ronnie Lott, or Dion Sanders or a Revis. To a lessor extent Sherman.
If you get one of those guys, it effect the entire defense.
The difference in your average pro-bowl CB and the 30th best CB is closer then your average pro-bowl QB and your 30th best QB.
