Two things stand out.

Is was a pretty strong defensive draft.

I was caught off guard when Mel Kiper said he had Pat Mahomes rated as the 27th best overall prospect and Deshaun Watson as the 35th best. Said the big 3 QBs would be overdrafted or reaches in the top 1/2 of the 1st round.

Gruden: "I would take Jamal Adams with the 1st pick. He's the best player in the draft. (umm, no)"

Bears fans when Goodell announced Mitchell Trubisky..................priceless
I don't feel like crying tonight

Also traded them the pick that became Kamara even though Kyle really wanted him. Had to settle for Joe i-forget-his-name who never played a down for us.

If Solly didn't bust, we don't get Bosa.
Now I can sleep tonight.

Kittle alone makes up for all the bad that occurred during that draft.

Cleveland is on another level man.

Every time they've had 2 #1s:

2007 - Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn
2012 - Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden
2014 - Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel
2015 - Danny Shelton and Cameron Erving
2017 - Myles Garrett and Jabril Peppers, David Njoku
2018 - Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward

I remember watching that 1st round in school and one guy was a Browns fan. He was super excited to get Bridgewater, and when they called Manziel's name, I just turn to him and start cackling, it was so funny. Manziel was somehow a 1st round pick and an absolutely certainty to bust at the same time. Of course he pretty much instantly talked himself into Manziel.
Foster, #56, very disappointing.
