I'm giving us a B. I like both of our players but I would have preferred we took a WR at 13 and traded down for multiple picks at 31.
or trading down from 13 for multiple picks and taking a WR late in the first and BPA at 31.
The reality is, we got 2 day 1 contributors with high upside in the first round and that so far is a success.

C-.
Should have taken Wirfs or CeeDee Lamb at 13...and then went WR or OT at 31 depending on who you took at 13.
I started to get excited when Wirfs fell and thought the Niners would scoop him up. But apparently we need another DT in the 1st round. The Solomon Thomas pick keeps paying dividends lol.
Bottom line, I would have been ecstatic if we came out of this draft with a #1 WR and/or a LT for the next decade. Somehow Shanny/Lynch managed to get neither.

I would do it in a heartbeat. He sucks though so I'm not sure why another team would do it.

Good draft so far, Kinlaw is a freak. I can't imagine what opposing OLs are going do with Bosa and Kinlaw. No living person can block him one on one if he's coached up right. So who are are you going to double team Bosa or Kinlaw?
Negative:
I don't really like the move up to draft Aiyuk. I think our biggest need is QB. If we were to move up the draft and gain major value than the pick should've been Love not Aiyuk. Jacob Fromm is still available. He doesn't have all the tangibles that you look for in a qb, but he definitely has that "it" factor that Brady had. I just hope he's still available by the time we draft.
DAFUQ ? you got to be joking?

Sucks we don't have more picks, but we addressed two major needs with excellent talent.

Its a definite B for me. The whole point of the draft is get better. Instead we hand picked the closest thing to Buckner and Sanders as possible. Cant dislike that after a superbowl run, but the rookies will not be as good as the proven veterans, at least in year 1, so we are coming back with a slightly worse team, albeit with a better cap situation. It's a very safe play.
Who knows what options were available at 14. If there were no options than I am fine with Kinlaw. BPA at position of need. but Vikings and Eagles were looking at WR, Lamb and Jeudy were still on the board. The 14 for 25, 58, 105 makes sense. The Vikings have alot of capital, and could have moved the 22 back for even more, like the Pats did at 23.
25, 31, 58, 105, 117, 156, 176. Take Aiyuk, Blacklock/Madubuike, and now have the picks to add meaningful players to the OL and secondary.
We'll see what else happens. If we move some players around, and get even 1 pick in the 3rd or 4th round, and dont draft a headscratcher, my thoughts can change quickly.

They got who they wanted while navigating the draft from their homes.
That's a draft grade not a player grade. Won't know that until they play.

Kinlaw is a really good player. He is very talented. I had him 22nd overall on my board. He has some injury issues in the past that need to be monitored. He has a great backstory of overcoming tough odds. These are all positive aspects to the player and pick.
However, when you have the best player on the board at the most important position of need, you pull the trigger. You don't play cute. The Niners need a wideout who you line up against their best CB and beats that player. No gimmick, no trickery. Just flat out wins. That is Ceedee Lamb. This is a lost opportunity.
You have to respect the Cowboys. They didn't need another star wide receiver. They needed defensive help. But, there was no way they were passing on Lamb when he dropped to them. Talent wins over everything else. The Niners had the opportunity to match talent and need, and flopped.
As for Aiyuk, he is a nice WR. A good WR. However, there were better wide receivers on the board (Mims, Pittman), and the team didn't need to sacrifice three picks to pick up a player at his talent level. We really could have used those extra mid-round picks.
As for me, I picked Lamb and Josh Jones, who will be a starting LT in the NFL. Would have been equally thrilled with Lamb and Winfield. The key player is Lamb. We were too cute, and therefore a lost opportunity.

I can maybe understand not taking Lamb at 14 if you think Aiyuk gives you a similar value and you love Kinlaw. But when Shanny said they seriously contemplated taking Aiyuk at 13 over Lamb I was so puzzled. Why is every other team in the draft rating Lamb in a different tier of receivers except Shanahan? What does that say about how we value WR's? It is just so mind-blowing to me.

After I've slept on it for a night I'd have to give it a C+ or B-. While I don't like the Kinlaw pick because I don't think it was a need, Kocurek should make him a beast.
Also I'm pretty excited for Aiyuk, and if they think it was necessary to trade up for him then I guess it's fine. That being said it's still disappointing to have only three more picks. Point is if we didn't hit on these picks the team will be set back massively. So hopefully their evaluation Is correct.

Ruggs went 1st then Jeudy so I'd say the rest of the NFL teams had him as WR3

Ruggs and Jeudy went before Lamb so not sure all teams had Lamb #1. He was 2nd on KS list
