2020 UDFA Signings Tracker/Prospect Wishlist

Anyone know much about the 2 RB's we signed? Can either of them be a surprise like Breida?

Hasty looks like a nice fit for a ZBS. Actually I get the vibe he's more of a possible McKinnon replacement. Assuming he makes the roster he'll be our best receiving back.

I have heard that the Niners really like the CB they drafted last year, Tim Harris, and they clearly like Moseley (despite his blown coverage in the SB). I don't know....the Niners don't tend to draft guys for need at a particular position unless they really like the guy. This didn't seem like a particularly good year for CBs or safeties so....they probably felt like the guys they have on the roster are better than UDFAs....

Last fall Acy was being touted as a second or third round pick.

I heard the same thing... Apparently, he battled some injuried this year (hamstring....which isn't good for a CB or S) and came back too soon. Definitely a nice prospect. We'll see. He certainly fits the size / speed that the Niners like.

Hasty showcased some special teams ability at Baylor as well. Covered kicks and was on the return team as a blocker. Could help him making the squad.

Seems good at run support too
Hokit reminds me a little bit of Toby Gerhart, and not just because he's white lol. The build is somewhat similar. Hopefully he can come in and make the PS, we may need him as insurance for Juice.
Hokit also plays defense...good wrestler...dog mentality. Not sure about the skills, though. OOps, missed the previous page, where this was discussed already!

Quick analysis on NT Darrion Daniels. Looks way bigger than 6-3 311. But he moves quite well. Fantastic get off for looking so top-heavy. Eats blocks well and holds up okay, but doesn't really offer any playmaking ability. Bottom-of-the roster run stuffer who is a nice PS guy to have around.

Yeah could be a good insurance policy if Jones gets injured again.

I think he's a sleeper to make the roster. Day is gone and Jullian Taylor tore his ACL late in the season. Hyder was the only addition outside of the draft. Daniels has the athleticism, power and motor to be a solid backup to DJ Jones.
