Yes yes yes
Isn't Shaun Wade strictly a slot corner?

Well when you ave 2 CBs that go in forst 19 picks you're kind of stuck where they put you.

That said, the one game i watch he was more allergic to tackling than Henderson.

He has the size to play outside, and will likely be given the chance to show what he's got there this year. That said, he has played in the slot with Arnette and Okudah ahead of him on the depth chart be it because of skill or seniority.

Yeah, Wade has never been shy about tackling, quite the opposite actually. Maybe he was watching the wrong guy.

He was ejected for basically murdering the Clemson quarterback in the Playoff... it actually turned the tide of that game.

All he does is make excellent tackles 🤣

After going through the "top 15" my very early list looks like....

1. Patrick Surtain, Alabama
2. Israel Mukuama, South Carolina
3. Shaun Wade, Ohio St.
4. Marco Wilson, Florida
5. Adrian Frye, Texas Tech
6. Mike Hampton, USF
7. Chase Lucas, ASU
8. Dicaprio Bootle, Nebraska
9.Caleb Farley, Va Tech
10. Paulson Adebo, Standford

the following 5 were incomplete since I couldn't find anything on them.

Tyson Campbell, Georgia
Josh Jobe, Alabama
Terry Dean, Florida
Jalyn Armour-Davis, Alabama
Josh Thompson, Texas.

Curious to see where they stand come draft time.

Dicaprio Bootle? Definitely on the All Name team Hall of Fame.

Ironically the Clemson game was the one i watched. I rewatched after the first comment and i didn't see what i thought i saw.

That said, ALL CBs love the free shots. Hitting a non suspecting QB doesn't real say much.

Fair enough, but I feel like the video I linked proved his physicality if nothing else.

Spoiler alert, they won´t draft CBs with high picks.
They don ´t value the position.
It will always be the trenches or playmakers for Kyle in the early rounds.
As for Stingley JR, I guess we could have a chance if we tank in 2021.
Best college CB I see in a long, long, time.

It depends on needs at the time. On offense, I'm expecting (more like hoping) that we do not need to use a draft pick on WR next year. No way they draft a QB in the first. No way they draft a RB in the first And although Kyle wants a number 2 TE, they aren't going to spend a first with the money that will be invested in Kittle (he's going to be on that 2nd contract starting in 2021). That takes us to defense. I can absolutely see us taking an edge rusher with our first pick and I'd honestly have no problems with it, even if Dee Ford played every game next season. We need better depth a LB, but no need to use a first. We have 3 really good linebackers. That leaves us with corner and then guard. If all goes well in 2021, I see us drafting a corner or edge rusher in the first.

Nice thread. This unit will be front and center for an upgrade next year.

I'd bet we go Edge Rusher first next year.

Any *way to early - Edge rusher* threads?

Looks to be a pretty weak class. Quite a few top highschool recruits coming back from injury tho so might have some risers
