2021 CBs - WAY TOO EARLY

2 corners, preferably an outside starter and Slot, and S

my dream would be Caleb Farley, Kary Vincent Jr, and Jevon Holland and the secondary would be fixed IMO

The cb that I really like after watching the film is Kelvin Joseph from Kentucky he has the ball skills and he's really good as a zone and man to man corner back.
Done with CBs

1. Caleb Farley
2. JayCee Horn
3. Patrick Surtain II
4. Eric Stokes
5. Asante Samuel Jr.
6. Greg Newsome
7. Ifeatu Melifonwu
8. Elijah Molden
9. Tyson Campbell
10. Keith Taylor

Imo, this is a very good DB group - could easily list a lot more names. I really really like the top 10ish safeties too.

Nice work Adrian, I won't do DB's as I can't stand the camera angles, so I'll probably just use your list.

Edit: saw a bit of Stokes while watching Bama & Florida, I acknowledge the freaks he was going against, but I wasn't a fan.

I need to watch this dude. Someone get the damn all-22. But I already like two things: 5'11", 203 lbs w/ 4.4 speed is in that sweet spot for ideal all-around build for playing multiple coverages. Good to see we're not pigeonholed to that ridiculous 6'3"+ philosophy anymore. I love reading that he's a very willing tackler. Finally, the hoodie is interested. If the hoodie is interested, I'm interested.

Yeah that's a good list. I kinda like Molden more than Melifonwu but it's hard to grade against two completely different players with vastly different play styles.

HA I'm been going crazy with the new TDN mock sim and I constantly keep drafting him. He's a straight up athlete and they play a ton of zone and like you said can tackle.

Newsome has 49ers written all over him
"Darren Hall's best fits in the 2021 NFL DraftDue to his experience at safety and cornerback, Darren Hall offers versatility as a 2021 NFL Draft prospect. There is no reason to suspect that he couldn't line up at any spot in the secondary. However, he performed best as an outside cornerback in zone coverage in his time as a cornerback at San Diego State. He could be a late-round steal for a team in need of depth in the secondary."

From PFN, he is on the list of players they have met with
Watching a little more on Horn and I'm not drafting him in the top 20. Not on this team. Way too handsy gonna get flagged a TON in the NFL. I just don't see him as a scheme fit either...when draft analysis mock him to us, it just shows a lack of scheme/fit and more just mocking a CB to SF because they need a CB.

The grabbing is pretty rampant in on college football. It comes from lazy footwork and then panicking. It's why I think there are a bunch of good corners but there isn't a lockdown corner in this draft. Farley has the most potential to have the highest ceiling while Surtain has a low floor but his ceiling isn't very high at all.

Oh I think Farley is the clear cut CB1 for me. Surtain is like every bama kid, he's pro-ready but what you see if what you get (only he's gonna go against better competition) I'm not taking him at 12 (hopefully Dallas does).

I think one of my favorite CBs is Elijah Molden. He's not gonna be a true outside guy, he's just a damn good football player and a elite slot DB. I like Newsome and Samuel as well (for top 50 picks).
