Where did the projected 40 times come from? I see they have Schwartz at 4.52. Unless he really slowed down that may be way off. This guy set a world youth record of 10.15 in the 100 meters and is considered the fastest guy in college football. He could probably run 4.52 backwards.
Devonta Adams available in the 3rd
Really the only WRs I'm looking at are day 3 guys. We might lose Bourne/Taylor, lost Pettis, Hurd is a ? And james is in his last yr.
There is room for depth without question. A true slot WR with speed would be nice
I'm just responding to the list that was posted that showed him being drafted between rounds 1-3. I agree that's crazy which is why I said I wouldn't even think twice about grabbing him if he fell that far. He would have to suffer a season ending injury to drop to the 3rd. I have no idea where that round 1-3 projection came from just like I don't know where the 4.52 40 came for Schwartz.

James has another year. And yes, we have room for guys to essentially fill a role with the team. WR1 andWR 2 positions are covered. FINALLY.

Do you take Justyn Ross in round 2 if he comes out? And there considering his injury?

I can't see investing that high of a pick in a receiver that is going to be a number 3. FINALLY after like 20 years, we have the starting positions locked down. We actually only need guys to fill a role.

I'd rather not bank on a player coming off a spinal injury.

I like Racey McMath late in the draft, he seems like a possible H-back/WR/F receiver type. I noticed him getting into LSU games and taking some swing or short passes and also red zone threat
From PFN
"The thing you'll often hear with Racey McMath — and it's true — is that he has the tools. McMath certainly does. He's a 6-foot-3, 224-pound pass catcher with serious jets. Pending testing, McMath might have a low-to-mid 4.4, and he accelerates with a lot of quickness, especially when tracking vertically. McMath also shows flashes of lateral suddenness and twitch. Those traits will be key for him at the next level if he wants to tap into his route running potential."

Was just watching him. He reminds me of Tyler Lockett. I'd love to see Kyle add someone with his elusiveness. He's got elite quickness with skills to play the slot or slide outside.
If Trent Taylor could have instant success in this system I think Darden could as well. I could see Kyle using him like Miami does with Grant. Keep the defense guessing with pre-snap motions and getting him the ball in space.
Plus, you'd be getting a guy that could see the field as a punt returner.

I like how he runs every route with that forward lean...will sell gos very effectively.
