What's the word on Wyatt Davis' health? I saw EARLY mocks showing his to us at 12, then he got hurt. I am wondering if he makes sense in the 2nd.

After watching more of his tape I think he's average. Not someone I'd spend our high second round pick on.

I hope it's his reported injuries was the cause of his down year.

Agreed Davis and their center are a big no for me in the top 100.

It's the perfect year to take a center imo. He can learn from Mack and potentially get his feet wet at RG, since Kyle prefers experience at center.

I think 43 may end up in a deadzone for IOL this year, though, with the top guys already gone and the next tier not quite as good as some other positions at that spot.

Watching the senior bowl made me love that small school kid rocking the dreads and beer gut. Meinerz (sp?) Not sure he's really a scheme fit but he could fun to watch (on and off the field).

if thats the route i think we draft a late one or go after a UDFA . i dont think its smart to dpend draft capital on a backup C when we have a solid to great one for the next 2 years

I would not be mad at that pick what so ever. Mack is 35, Meinerz could fill a need for us at RG then slide over if needed once Mack is on his way out. Leaving Brunskil as the utility man. As much as I would like to go CB or Edge with the 2nd pick I think the smartest thing to do would be to sure up the Oline.

I know it wont happen but I've seen a few mock drafts that had Tevin Jenkins falling to 43 could you imagine.

Hopefully we come away with 2 OL in this draft. One by round 4 and one later to develop more.

I take that Morrissey guy all the time in the draft simulator. I have no clue if he's good cause I hardly watch O line play but sure sign me up.
