I'm looking more at where the gaps in the top 10 "might be".

Miami has Houston's pick and no real need to give up on Tua yet. Giants, who knows what they think, but if they stay higher than WFT there might be a chance.

Yeah.....dunno. Still so much more to unfold.

Rooting for Houston and the Giants to lose out and Jacksonville, New England and WFC to win as many games as possible. The Jets are a lost cause, not sure if they'll win a game all year.

Jets shouldn't win a game. I checked their schedule just to see which teams higher than us have guaranteed wins.

Washington, NYJ, Jacksonville, NE, Chicago could all be looking for a QB. But I think some will look to trades or free agency, not all teams can rely on a rookie QB. I honestly think the Jets will want a veteran over a rookie, then again I don't expect Adam Gase to last till January so they just might draft a QB. Like you said, still so much more to unfold.

There's not a chance in hell the Jets will pass on Lawrence. Gase is the tank commander right now but he's getting canned eventually and the Jets will be able to lure in a new HC with the ability to draft the best pure QB prospect since Luck.

Who knows, the new head coach just might stick with Darnold.

The first 3 are the concern. Chicago doesn't bother me. Only have 5 draft picks in 2021 and will have a much later first rounder than us. If they draft up ahead of us then we were never really that interested to begin with IMO.

NE is interesting. We'll see if they tank tomorrow. Maybe we could find a partially used QB they might be interested in. That would be ideal for us to take them out the running and get a pick back that we can use to trade up.

You just got hired for a brand new job as a head coach. Your options at QB are as follows:

A: Young injury prone QB who has a problem with turning the football over, iffy mechanics and is going to be on his third head coach.

B. An amazing college prospect that you can develop and mold in your own offense, a guy that can do it all and is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck.

Your job security largely depends on whichever one of these two you happen to go with. Who do you choose?

I mean look at Kyle Shanahan, he didn't exactly put all his chips in a rookie QB, he preferred a veteran Hoyer and Cousins and Garoppolo. I bet Chicago was certain the 49ers would've drafted Trubisky, Mahomes or Watson.

And what happens to that new HC if the amazing prospect doesn't come out or even better refuses to join your team?
i think lawrence will be very very very tough to trade up for and in all honestly we can all see why the guy looks special but wilson i think we can trade up for alot easier hes cery talented but and who knows he might be the best qb in the long term even though its unlikely but hes not as sure fire as lawrence not even close i think we can trade up for the guy with jimmy plus a first maybe a 3rd also

Neither one of those things are happening with Lawrence

Yeah let's keep things in the realm of reality okay?
Nobody is passing on Trevor Lawrence. Nobody.

Is getting some heat in the news. He's also dropped his about coming back. You want to deny that's your choice.

Well the Jets are nobody...

Sports media will put up anything for clicks. He's coming out and the Jets will go out and find the most QB friendly HC they can get, maybe a guy like Joe Brady to help Lawrence be successful.
