But I agree with a conspiracy theory that Simms is downplaying Trey Lance for the 49ers. The top 6 QB rankings thing is just weird, and Simms goes out of his way to s**t on Lance anytime he's brought up lol.

this is obviously whats happening. If im not mistaken, after the draft last year Simms revealed that Kyle asked him to keep Aiyuk off of any of his "top WR" lists and mock drafts and that he knew thats who the Niners were targeting.

This guy gets it! Theres already underground rumors flying SF is very interested in Lance....which is unusually b/c they don't let anything leak but Solomon and Kinlaw (and that SF loved Bosa when Bosa/QW draft debate was ongoing) got leaked prior to draft and even McGlinchy...so who knows....
