You can definitely tell the guys who value strength versus accuracy. His pro day majority of his throws were just catchable balls and not accurate passes. That's in shorts and tee shirt against air.

To each their own

I know i seen his whole pro day on youtube. We gotta trade up for him. Dudes pinpoint in my opinion not every throw is gonna be perfect but with kyle coaching lance it could potentially be the next belichik-brady reid-mahomes type duo. Im not exaggerating either. Jimmy would be like the Bledsoe/ Alex smith guy sad but true.

Hey man I'm on board. I see more Walsh/Steve young....kyle watched that s**t live as a kid.
I noticed that he trains with Deshaun. I hope he's staying away from his masseuse recommendations.

I'm starting to think that Trey Lance is Kyle's trade-up target, and Mac Jones is his at-12 target.

Hell yea thats even better Steve young was the man. We got a vacant #5 jersey too just saying Trey. I think we're gonna trade up for him. Well worth it.

Jones is alright if we can get Lance or one of the big 4 i want a corner or slater. Devanta smith too that Alabama receiver or the Florida tight end on some best player available type s**t if they fall and the top 4 qbs are gone. We need a lockdown corner though. Mac Jones would be good in a trade back scenario though.

Philly/Det is the sweet spot...possibly cinci too.

im all for giving up a 3rd/5Th future 1st/3rd or something like to get our man.

use that 2nd to trade down and recoup some picks. Possibly move Jimmy next yr if he plays well.

Hopefully it plays out like that Detroit and philly need to think about their futures anyways.

They need draft picks, especially Philly.

That throw had nothing to do with arm strength considering it was an overthrow.

Mahomes missed guys deep. Wilson has missed guys deep. Brees, Brady have missed guys deep.

It just happened to be a throw that was critical and one that needed to be made so everyone remembers it and acts like every other QB makes that throw. He threw a perfect ball to Kittle that got wiped off the books. Nobody brings that up.

We can criticize Jimmy for not being great on deeper throws but let's not just act like every QB with a big arm makes that throw. We don't know that.

Yeah.. I think he's the target aswell. He would be nice fit here if we decide to go up and get him. I'm good with that as we pretty much address most needs in FA other than a couple of starters, rotational pieces and depth.

I dont recall writing anything about "arm strength" in my post i think the key word was "accurate" which jimmy isnt on deep passes which means hes limited and not a complete qb. He missed the super bowl overthrow it happens granted, he underthrew kendrick bourne in the opener vs Az with the game on the line, his deep ball was horrible in that dolphins game which lead him to being benched, that long throw to Aiyuk in that patriots game was a completion but if jimmy throws it in the right spot its a walkin touchdown rather than dude having to run out on the sideline. Jimmy cant throw deep to save our life the best deep throws i ever seen him make was that bomb that kittle dropped in the opener 2018 vs the vikings, richie james vs tampa week 1 2019, the Emmanuel sanders one to beat the rams was good, and the george kittle one in the super bowl that got called back. It aint got nothing to do with his arm strength he cant get the ball from A to B on throws 35+. Lances ball looks way more crisp then jimmys deep and lance can run too. Jimmy dont suck but we cant count on him in the big moments.... oh yea and that 2019 MNF Seattle game i think it was deebo he was going crazy that game and he got loose in overtime or the end of the 4th jimmy missed the bomb that woulda put the dagger in the dragons heart. Instead we lose in ot cuz our back up kicker kicked the ball into the tunnel.

Trade Jimmy and use #12 and either that pick and next yrs 2nd rd pick or #43 and next yrs 2nd to move up. Either way a QB has to be drafted this yr. Jimmy's contract has got to be off the books to extend Warner.
At this point its either gonna be trey lance or mac jones in the first. I hope they trade up for Lance though.
