He seems as the most reasonable option. High efficiency type of run-heavy offense. Legit arm. Can playaction. Can score from anywhere on the field from running or passing.

It has to be Lance, right? Zach Wilson is going to the Jets; Justin Fields hasn't even had his Pro Day; As crazy as it sounds, I'm not going to rule out Mac Jones, but I wouldn't trade this many assets for Mac Jones.

Kyle loved Josh Allen. Trey Lance is essentially Josh Allen-lite in many ways. He has the talent to be special, and he can sit for a year or two behind Jimmy. I think this is their guy.

One thing I remember about Kyle is that he could care less about pro days. The guy is watching all players on tape basically so Justin Fields not having his pro day doesn´t mean he ´s not gonna be the guy.

Nah I think this makes it less likely to be Lance. Remember Lance was a coin toss between being the 4th or 5th best QB in this draft... then he has a pro day and now all of a sudden he is top 3? That's all hype. At the end of the Season before all the smoke screens it was Lawrence, Fields and Wilson as the top 3. I still think it's that way in NFL circles. Lance is getting hyped up because he is the pro day smoke screen that happens every year. He has too many uncertainties in his game to justify the 3rd pick in the draft. He's also the least accurate of the top 5... that's the #1 thing needed in a QB.

Did anyone from the 49ers attend his pro day?

Interesting that on NFL network Daniel Jeremiah's initial reaction was that they want Trey Lance....I was watching live and he said it like 2 minutes after the news broke.

Ever since those Simms QB rankings came out, my gut has been telling me this is Kyle's guy.
