Breer said he's hearing that Lance and Fields are working on setting up a second pro-day for the 49ers...it would have to be on campus and it's open for every team (can't have private workouts).

But it would be more open for us I'm hoping it's next week.

I keep going back and forth between Lance and Fields, being ok with Mac, and not liking anybody lol. The only major thing that scares me with Lance is the JMU. It was the only game where he was really under pressure and boy did he crumble. Mechanics went out the window, got laser-focused on his first read.

If you can point to one thing that separates good from great players, it's that they elevate their game when the competition is highest. I'm fairly certain Fields has this trait, Mac hasn't been tested at all and Lance may have a red flag there.

Did he elevate his game vs Alabama?....how about Northwestern?

You know the one thing fields is missing that both Lance and Mac have?

It's a National Championship.

Stop pushing this narrative. Show me an all time great QB that has a college National Championship as a starter and SB.

Joe Montana.

Montana was a 3rd round pick. Good luck finding another one.

Your comments in these threads have reeked of ignorance. If you're using a national championship to make your QB evaluations that says a lot.

National Championship shows the guy can finish.

I don't like Fields as a QB prospect for this team...you can go ahead and love him all you want but all I see a guy who misses passes game in game out, is late on his reads with poor ball placement from time to time and takes too many sacks for having a 4.44 40.

His film can be hot like the Nebraska game but it can show an awful QB relying on athleticism like it was vs Northwestern. Fields wasn't wasn't perfect on an all star team even though he had perfect games on occasion like vs Clemson and that's what makes him a scary pick. If he was in NDST like Lance at least he has the excuse of being on a bad team but he wasn't. I mean getting shut out from the 6 min mark of the 3rd Quarter on in the National Championship game tells me Alabama's D coordinator probably figured him out...NFL D Coordinators will do the same with his issues as a passer.

It shows his team can finish. Did you watch that game? Fields was far from the issue for OSU when his defense gives up 464 yards and 5 TDs and another 150 on the ground. Given your comments I don't know if you did...or if you did you clearly didn't bother to go back and actually watch Fields' play alone.

If you want someone who can finish I'd say Fields' performance against Clemson shows plenty.

Saw the game, rewatched the film available to all of us and yes he was part of the bigger problem for OSU.

He said it would be no different then Bama having 2 pro days...I just don't know if it would actually be on TV again because it's not other guys on the team just the QBs

Well, that settles it … ROADTRIP!!!

Argue about QBs, sneak into the Pro Day, go out for dinner and beat the hell out of each other discussing the Pro Day!

…Hmmm… yeah, we wouldn't even get in.
Trey Lance becomes a monster on this team. we are stacked, we would be in atleast three or four superbowls before this dude even needs an extension

The fact that Lance and Fields accept to have a second pro day which is virtually a visit for the niners, shows me that they are competitors.
I mean, they could have sat on their excellent pro days right? Not their faults the Niners have a particular timing for their trade.
And that shows me also that they have understand the situation. You can be a rookie and work for Kyle Shanahan with a superbowl caliber team. Is there a better situation to start a career honestly?

This right here separates Lance from ALL of them. It's not being talked about enough (for a reason? 🤫) how hard it is, how high of an IQ, how much work and dedication to your craft that it takes from a 19 year old to do this. It's why I feel Simms has him ranked #6, just like Aiyuk and it's why my head spins everyday thinking about Mac and Fields but my gut keeps coming back to Lance. Kyle will be blown away by this and it's a damn shame that we can't have him in the building to have a private meeting with him to impress all of them even more. Then when he watches the tape and sees the play action this kid runs from under center straight from his playbook with the quick twitch that he has, it will be the removal of towel brushing of hand to penis happy Watson ending for him.

For real. The difference in being drafted by the 49ers or the Jets/Falcons/Jags etc can mean the difference between bouncing around the league or a second contract worth millions. It's hard to find another top3 QB that comes into a better situation than what SF has to offer. I can think of only one - Luck since the Colts were good and only selected #1 because Peyton wrecked his neck.

Whats the point I thought we already drafted Jones?

F*cking webzone and their bunched up panties and ruffled jimmies lol. Half of the webzone is ready to root for a different team just from speculation.
