These two games make me want to draft him at 3. I know the competition he's facing is not good. But just watching his footwork and the athleticism is enough for me to think Shanahan can turn him into a star.

I think Lance is a better improviser and runner but is less accurate. I think he maneuvers the pocket a lot better than fields. But his level of competition and only playing one game last year makes him very risky.

Yup, but I get the hype. I'd take Lance over Jones knowing he can hopefully sit a year and learn.

I heard Lance has only played 27 games of football his entire high school and college days combined. Compared to almost 100 for Lawrence. I like Lance's upside, but lack of experience and game film scares me at pick 3.
