U may wanna put Lance closer to Jones, in fact the next guys (Mond - Mills - Trasks) should be closer to Jones than Jones closer to your other 1st rounders.

I'm expecting Fields to be the pick...if he's not, it'll be Lance. It'll be interesting to see how much hype comes out of Trey's Monday pro day. There'll be some, no doubt, as this young man is remarkable in many ways. No matter which guy's selected, the Niners have created a pre-draft buzz we haven't seen in awhile. While I totally get Fields being selected largely due to his 2 yrs as a starter for one of the top college teams in America, wouldn't it set the NFL on its ear if they choose Lance. Just sayin'.

That's just a top 5 list...not a big board. End of the day where they go will matter more as far as how successful they are.

I don't have Jones close to the top 4 as far as the big board would go.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Kyle drafts Lance. When we traded up he was the 1st QB I thought of as the reason why. Here are some reasons why I think it could be Trey Lance. It was after Trey's Pro-day that John and Kyle decided to try and trade up. Moving up to 5 or 6 is a spot where you could get him if you believed the Dolphins weren't taking a QB. When they learned the Eagles were trying to trade up with the Dolphins they knew they had to beat them to the punch in order to assure they would get their guy. John and Kyle calling Jimmy immediately and telling him he is still very much in their plans is a clue that they know the QB they draft is not going to be ready year 1. That screams Trey Lance.

I think there was a lot of talk about jones at 12. They would need to jump denver to get him. When they looked at the cost they thought why not go get one of these 3 guys instead. All the jones stuff comes from early conversations before they said go big or go home.

I think the big 3 for them were Lawrence fields and Lance. Not sure on the order. I do not think Wilson was in the group, on Prue athleticism those 3 are head and shoulder above the rest.

I hope we get more info on the process post draft.

Draftkings has Fields at -134 and Jones at +150. Big movement from a week ago.
