Use that freed up cash to resign TW, and get some help on the interior, resign juice, Verrett, cheaper vet edge.

Trade up for one of Wilson or Lance. Use all remaining picks on OL/DB/EDGE to develop and contribute.

They may lose out and not because of the tanking some people want. Lance or Wilson would be great. I thought McGlinchey was good before this year. What happened or did I just not see how bad McGlinchey was in the past? I also think a veteran (previous starter) QB as a back up is necessary.

Jimmy G should have an incentive laden contract, or pay him hourly . Verrett same thing. He has had way too may injuries.

Cohn had a funny tweet about switching McGlinchey and AA. McGlinchey is great at getting QB pressure, and AA is great and protecting the QB.

Dallas is really bad...I can't imagine Mullens is bad enough to give away another few defensive TDs and IMO that's the only way Dallas beats us unless Warner and KW are out for this game on D.

I understand what you mean. Lance's tape is the least impressive in terms of complexity in the passing game.

But so was Josh Allen and Justin Herbert was awful for stretches in college.

I think it's the physical gifts that get myself and others excited. He's got the arm to push the ball outside the numbers and down the field. We just don't know if he can be consistent enough as others have shown.

I like both Jones and Trask but their ceiling isn't nearly as high.

Josh Allen had some god awful college performances. You could see the arm and athleticism but there was nothing to make most people believe that he'd ever be better than Carson Wentz. He could throw it a mile but his accuracy was all over the place and even when his admittedly talent poor team was much more evenly matched up against lesser opponents, he was still very hit or miss.

Even his accuracy last two years was terrible. Dude had a lowlight reel of AWFUL misses just from last season.

The step up he's having this year from last season is crazy and very impressive. Though adding a top flight WR helps.

That's kinda my point about Lance. He hasn't shown he's on the same level as Jones or Trask from the pocket. But he may grow and become elite there like Josh Allen has.

On one hand I've seen better accuracy from Lance. On the other hand, he doesn't have the same cannon as Allen does. Not sure anyone but Mahomes is in that ballpark.

Then again Lance is more athletic than Allen. However he also played on a completely stacked team that has allowed QB after QB to perform at a high level.

Overall he has the highest upside of any QB in this draft class but likely also the highest learning curve.

If Allen and Mahomes are S-tier, I think Lance is A-tier. Dude has a cannon.

One thing I've noticed with Lance is that there seems to be untapped arm strength there with his release point. If you watch him closely, he often throws from a very high arm slot. If he can work with a QB coach to lower and tighten his release, we could see special arm strength. It's kind of similar to what happened to Rodgers.

this photo captures it well

Dallas' roster overall is better than ours currently imo.

I agree, accuracy overall isn't something you drastically improve at either. Props to Allen.

He's been working out with a QB coach since he declared for the draft like a month ago

I'm telling ya he's gonna be the 3rd QB taken after the draft process is over.

Much better on offense.

Lance is more realistic. If he ends up being QB4 and we are in the top-10, I can see it. Would love being able to get him and not having to trade up. We need picks and we have no 3rd this year.

We will have a 3rd if Saleh gets a head coaching job....toss in a 4th and 3 5ths

That 3rd wouldn't be tradable correct?

Comp picks are tradable.

Sure it would, all picks are trade-able now.
