Oddly enough Jed has been great. He has made plenty of misstates and learned. You barely hear a word from him now.

This wouldn't be on him. He's being a real owner and letting his GM and coach hang or help themselves lol. s**t for all we know he LOVES fields or Lance but is keeping quiet because he's trying.

I stand by my thinking. If it's fields or Lance and he doesn't pan out, bad, but not a killer. If they take Jones and he doesn't win a SB = disaster.

Who knows but the interesting thing that rich eisen said is that it's been trey lance all a long👀... If the niners are gonna keep Jimmy G this year then I can see this happening and have trey sit and watch and study the playbook for a year then play in year 2.

It makes sense with them keeping Jimmy G. They told Jimmy immediately after the trade-up that he is still very much in their plans. From that moment I was leaning towards Lance being the pick.

Trey does make the most sense. He plays in a similar offense to us in college, albeit obviously less complex. He had pre snap responsibilities. He looks to have a really good head on his shoulders. At a time period where each prospect gets disected on his character he has no red flags from anyone, even fields had some even though its probably false. From what I've heard this is a guy that John would love. Plus we can keep Jimmy for a year while trey learns.

I'm still on team fields though but I'd get the lance pick.
