"The running element is something that isn't part of Kyle's system because he sees the ability to run for a quarterback as kind of a bail-out. And in his offense he doesn't need to bail out because guys are going to be open."

If Lance is somehow the pick, I don't see why he couldn't start and run the Jimmy offense (i.e. vs Pats last year). Throw in some play action deeps shots and some read option plays.

Starting a rookie is kind of tanking our Super Bowl aspirations regardless. Making the playoffs and getting knocked out in the wildcard ala Lamar/RG3 would still be a success.

Imo he could start and probably will. Wentz did coming out of the same offense. Yeah he had more starts but he never executed at Lance's level of success. That offense preps you well for the nfl.

Dude it's been a rough month around here. I won't even venture the slightest into the politics of the day as that'll just add to dudes little attempt at derailing the thread. Anyone without an agenda understands you just think the guy is a high character kid. Honestly all of these guys seem to be pretty high character. But theyre also being coached up on how to act I'm sure so who knows... Never saw the deshaun Watson thing coming. I thought he was an awesome dude. Then the trade demand caught me off guard like this guy was just crying and thanking everyone involved in his life when he got his big extension. Then a year later he's demanding out? And then what came right after that was another level obviously and still playing out. Point is I take the great character stuff with a grain of salt as most of these guys are trying to present a certain image that will appeal to nfl teams and the public in general. But at the end of the day it's still all good stuff. Lance is an awesome prospect and the guy I'm hoping we pick. More film and traits than character but I'm at the age where I can't even root for a player if he's an a*****e. Character definitely matters.

Please just trust us." Seemed like they (esp. Lynch) are aware of how people feel about Jones and want to get ahead of the reaction.

They have to do a presser, every team does it about a week before the draft
